Harold goes to get Scott, but of course, Scott isn't there. Mr Scuros gets angry but Madge is more worried that they've had an accident. Mr Scuros shouts that Scott had better not have taken advantage of his daughter!
Scott and Poppy are eating the remains of the picnic for their breakfast. Scott has another look at Poppy's ankle and it's still not too good. He tells her stay at the car while he goes for help. Poppy says her father will be freaking out by now. Just then a car comes along and Scott flags it down for a lift to the service station.
Des is making breakfast for himself and Mike. He asks Mike how Jane was last night. Mike says that she was quite morose really. Des doesn't know what to do - he doesn't want to hurt her any more - he just wants to be friends, if they can. Mike thinks Des is asking too much.
Madge is ringing round the hospitals and the police but they haven't heard anything. Mr Scuros is still ranting about Scott taking advantage of Poppy and threatening to kill him(!) Harold says that Scott is an upstanding young man and happily married to boot!
Just then, Scott and Poppy stagger in.
Joe is still trying to train Bouncer but isn't having much success. Joe thinks the video was a rip-off. Jane suggests asking Mike to help.
Joe thinks that Des needs his head read - he doesn't like the way he's treated Jane.
Mr Scuros is shouting that Poppy spent the night with a married man. He won't listen to reason and keeps shouting at Scott. He claims his family has been dishonoured(!) Then he starts shouting about what Stavros will think. Poppy says she doesn't give a damn about what Stavros thinks!
Des is struggling to get Jamie ready to go over to Bronwyn's so Mike takes over.
As Mike is taking Jamie over to Bronwyn's, Joe comes to see Des. He tells him that he's broken Jane's heart. Des says he couldn't help it, but Joe says Des has just gone cold suddenly for no reason. He storms out.
Madge and Scott are having a chat. Madge shows Scott a negligee she's bought for her anniversary night (Yuk - is that really the sort of thing to be showing your son-in-law?!!) She also tells Scott that she's booked the bridal suite at Lassiter's and he's impressed. Now she wants to buy Harold a present, but she doesn't know what.
Harold brings their meals over and Scott pretends to growl(!) Madge warns Scott not to blow her surprise.
Des comes in to see Jane. She isn't pleased to see him and is even less pleased when he gives her a present that he bought for her from overseas. Des unwraps it himself - it's a scarf. Jane says she can't accept it - things have changed now and she can't just forget that nothing ever happened. Des says he values their friendship. But Jane tells him to leave her alone. When Des has gone, she picks up the scarf and sighs.
Joe and Bouncer are watching the dog-training video again. Joe is greatly frustrated with Bouncer's lack of progress. He starts to shout at Bouncer, but the man on the video tells him not to(!)
Joe gets up and rings the creator of the dog-training video(!) In the background, Bouncer is picking up objects perfectly(!) Joe tells the bloke on the phone that he wants his money back!
Scott has come to see Mike. Mike is studying for his last exam. He asks Scott about the incident in the country last night. Scott says there's nothing going on between him and Poppy.
Just then, Poppy comes round to find Scott. She's come to pick up her car. She apologises for her father's ranting. Scott asks who Stavros is, but Poppy is evasive. She's allowed to carry on with the article though - her father has calmed down a bit.
When Poppy has gone, Mike asks Scott down to the pub for a game of darts - there's someone he wants to tell Scott about.
Harold is writing a poem and telling Jane that it's his wedding anniversary next week. He shyly reads it out to Jane.
Love is like the passing seasons
Never changing, but to grow
And we do not need the reasons.
Love is all we need to know.
Like fragrant flowers or gentle light
My devotion is ever true
No other message day or night
My beautiful Madge, my love is you.
Jane thinks the poem is lovely. Harold tells Jane that he has another surprise up his sleeve for his anniversary. Jane thinks Madge is a very lucky woman. She heads off, a bit sadly.
Joe thinks Bouncer is a lost cause(!) Jane comes in and Joe warns her not to give Bouncer any treats(!) Joe is still fed up with Des, and even more so when Jane shows him the scarf.
JOE: What a mongrel.
BOUNCER: Woof! Woof!
JOE: Not you, you fool!
Joe tells Jane that he can't find one of his slippers (Bouncer hid it earlier!) When Joe and Jane are out of the room, Bouncer takes Jane's scarf and drags it away.
Scott and Mike see a Greek guy getting out of a car. He says he's looking for Scott Robinson. Scott goes over and the bloke introduces himself as Stavros - Poppy's fiance. He warns Scott to stay away from Poppy. Scott tells him that they're only working on a project together and he'll continue as long as Poppy wants him to. They start to fight and Mike separates them, shouting at Stavros to rack off. Mike can't believe that Scott is fighting over Poppy.
