Gail storms out just as Rosemary is coming in.
Rosemary tells Paul that she let her emotions influence her decision - she doesn't really want to sell to Derek Morris. She knows Paul is the best person for the Daniels Corporation and wants him to have it. Rosemary also says that she was unfair to Jane and she's welcome to stay on. Paul says that Jane's resigned, but Rosemary says she'll go and apologise to her and try to get her back.
Bronwyn suggests that Des enters Jamie in a beautiful baby competition. Des isn't keen though - it's like parading babies like pets.
Mike arrives home, much to their surprise as they haven't heard from him in ages. Mike frostily asks what Henry is doing there and he doesn't seem too chuffed. Mike says he'll sleep on the couch so Henry is forced to tell him that he's actually sleeping in with Bronwyn. Mike receives this with a stony face and goes off to unpack.
Jane is cleaning up Joe's mess when Rosemary comes round. She apologises for the advice she gave Jane about Mark - it wasn't entirely objective. Jane accepts her apology but still looks a bit frosty. But Rosemary says that her advice about Mark's family stands - they are like piranhas. Jane thinks Rosemary is right - they'd never make her feel good enough for Mark and that's no way to conduct a marriage.
Nick and Sharon are studying and Nick starts moaning about school. He only wants to paint, he's sick of study. He wants the chance to show everyone what he can do. Sharon has an idea.
Des, Bronwyn, Mike and Henry have been watching a movie. When it finishes, Des goes off to bed and Bronwyn quizzes Mike about his trip. She goes off to bed leaving Henry to wash up. When she's gone, Mike starts on Henry. He makes some cutting remarks about Henry's washing up ability then asks Henry to move his stuff out of his room. Mike says Henry's moved in on both his girl and his home - his room is all he's got left.
Clarkes, the following morning
Henry has moved his stuff out of Mike's room and Des says that Henry must fit in with Mike because he's lived there longer. Henry slopes off to work.
Bronwyn tells Des that he's not being fair to Henry - he's been trying really hard. Mike says he was looking forward to coming home, but now Henry's there it doesn't feel like home at all.
Henry is flinging tools angrily into his ute when Jane come up. He tells her about the situation with Mike and Jane says it'll take Mike a while to get used to him being with Bronwyn. Henry thinks that God has it in for him - he can't be happy for long before something happens.
Sharon and Nick comes up while Henry is looking sadly at the state of his car. Sharon suggests that Nick paint his car for free - he's looking into doing some work on mobile arts. Henry thinks it sounds like a good deal. Nick says he'll start after lunch!
Rosemary comes in tells Gail that the deal is going through with Paul after all. Gail says that Paul is a workaholic and she doesn't want to patch things up with him - she wants to get as far away as possible from him. Gail asks Rosemary if she still wants her in New York.
The Coffee Shop
Bronwyn is quizzing Mike about his trip but he doesn't want to talk about it. She tells him he's like a different person since he's been away.
The Erinsborough High headteacher comes in. He says there's been some developments in the Jessie Ross case. He says he can understand how Mike found him in the situation he did and he hasn't filed a complaint - Mike is free to return without disciplinary action: his slate is clean. Mike rudely tells him that he's not going back anyway and walks out.
When he's gone, Des can't understand why Mike is acting this way.
Paul comes in and tells Gail that the deal for him to buy the Daniels Corporation is back on. Paul tells Gail he's sorry about everything and for treating her so badly. Gail is not impressed and says they can't work things out. She tells him that their marriage is over and she's going back to New York with Rosemary to take up a position there.
Bronwyn and Henry are messing around, much to Mike's displeasure. Mike tells Henry that he's sick of him and stalks out, telling Henry to stay out of his way. When he's gone, Henry wonders if he's jealous of him and Bronwyn.
Sharon catches Henry and makes him close his eyes. He opens his eyes to see what Nick has done to his car. It's covered in swirls and stars and Henry loves it! Sharon takes a photo of them posing by the car!
Paul is on the phone to Gloria about Gail's New York job offer. Paul thinks Gail is bluffing. Jane isn't so sure - Gail did sound serious. Paul says Gail knows what she means to him, but Jane thinks he might not have done enough.
Henry is serving Mike who is still being really frosty towards him. Henry tells him that he should just talk things over - they're mates. Mike says they're not mates any more and Henry jokingly says that Mike should lay one on him if they're not mates. He offers Mike his chin in jest, but Mike takes him up on the offer and punches him. Henry falls to the ground.
