It's two weeks since Daphne died and Des is at her grave. He starts to cry.
DES: I don't know why that happens. I wasn't thinking about anything sad, been happening for about two weeks now. One minute I'm fine and the next thing I just fall to pieces. I suppose it's just a matter of time. It's a funny old world isn't it?

She tells Sally she feels so helpless. Eileen breaks down and tells Sally that Des won't have anything to do with Jamie. Eileen tells herself that she can not go to pieces as everyone is relying on her.

Helen arrives to help out with Jamie. Mike tells her Des has gone to Eileen's unit to try and find some new photos of Daphne. Mike thinks it would be easier if there weren't so many reminders of Daphne around. Helen and Madge decide to bag up Daphne's clothes to save Des from doing it.
Outside The Coffee Shop
Harold is angry about Todd's outburst and lectures Sally about the youth of today. Sally laughs and tells Harold he sounds like Georgette from the Dear Georgette column.
