But Mr Parker says he's going to take the case as far as legally possible.

Clive dims the lights and shows slides from the 1930s, telling the story of the Depression and other events.
Helen is sketching Jim when Ruth comes in. Helen apologises for snapping at her that morning. Ruth says she'd managed to sell an emerald ring and gives Jim and Helen the money for her keep. She says she's going to start looking for somewhere to live - she can't stay with the Robinsons indefinitely. Jim says she can stay on as long as she likes.
Clive is now telling the story of how Dan and Edna got together at a dance. Edna picks up the story and says it was the first time she'd been out on her own. Dan tells how he asked Edna to dance.
