Clive suggests a subterfuge - that Madge should ring Edna and tell her that Dan is on his way home. Edna will agree to visit Madge for a while(!) Now she can't pay her bill and her luggage has been impounded. Jim asks Paul to release the luggage, but Paul refuses saying it's hotel policy until the bill has been paid(!)
