EILEEN: What, you are married and without me?!

Daphne and Des nod in agreement again, Eileen bursts into tears at the thought. Then chastises Des for getting married without her. She tells him that she was so looking forward to it.
After more tears she welcomes Daphne into the Clarke household and asks her if she realises hat Des and her are close and hopes that them being married won't change that. Daphne assures her it won't. Des asks if she didn't get their letter why is she back so soon, Eileen says she doesn't want to discuss that now and asks for the key to her house. She then says that all her luggage is on the front steps, Des calls her a taxi and pushes her through the front door shutting it firmly behind her. He then takes Daphne's hand and pulls her towards the bedroom.

Kate tells Vicki to hurry up as Graham is taking her to school today because of the burglars on the prowl. Clive teases Graham about his doctors' bag and always being on call. Vicki picks up a photo of Linda and asks who she is and why she is laughing in the photo. Clive looks sadly at the photo and tells Vicki that he will tell her all about Linda one day.

Eileen arrives with her luggage and tells them it is too awful for words she has been burgled and they have taken everything. Daphne looks cheesed off with Eileen - now moved in. She tells Des he has to do something about it. Des says he has tried he can hardly kick her out. Daphne says fine she will do it. Des then tells her that the reason Eileen came back early was she fell out with George on the cruise. He had gone off with a curved blonde divorcee and then she comes back to find her house ransacked and to find the two of them treating her like something out of an isolation ward. Daphne reluctantly agrees to be a bit more tolerant.
Eileen starts calling for "Desmond" She has got something for him. She wants him to hold out his hands and shut his eyes. She hands him a horrible purple Hawaiian "Very Loud" type shirt. She then tells them that she was going to buy a silk one but polyester is so much more practical and drip dry! Des and Daphne are not impressed at all!
Prompted by Daphne, Des tells Eileen that he has been having a think and if he gets a bank loan he will be able to get Eileen a stack of furniture. Eileen wants to know if it will be new furniture. Des replies not all new but enough to get by. Eileen tells them that his furniture means everything to her, it is her life, and it isn't as if she got a lot from Des's father. But that she understands that this is their honeymoon and she certainly doesn't want to cause any friction. Daphne agrees that of course she won't. Eileen is delighted and says that they are just one big happy family.
Ramsay House
Eileen is telling Madge about her house and that is not the only shock she had...the wedding! And that Des is portraying some of the worse qualities of his father and if he continues she pities Daphne. Eileen then says that she understands that Madge had a similar difficult marriage and it is the children who suffer that they always take after the fathers. She then lectures Madge about keeping a strong hold on Charlene. Madge agrees that Charlene has a wild streak and that she had already nipped it is the bud that she had told Charlene where her responsibilities lie to her family and to her schoolwork.

Charlene replies that she has a free period and that she will be picking the girls up and goes on to ask about the health of a "friend" at school she is really tired and she isn't eating much. Graham says that those symptoms are pretty general and offers to have a look at her. Charlene was no she has her own doctor and she has probably only got the flu. Graham says that it is always better to get a doctor to draw those conclusions, but Charlene insists that her friend has her own doctor.
Ramsay House
Tom is giving Madge a present; she looks really thrilled until she opens it up to discover a set of darts. Tom goes on about how wonderful the darts are and how he will leave Alex Carter for dead next time they play. Charlene arrives home with Lucy but no Vicky. Madge wants to know why Charlene didn't pick up Vicky; she explains that she is with Clive at the coffee shop. Madge is not happy until Charlene explains it is where Vicky wanted to be.
Eileen bursts into the house in floods of tears saying it is just too much...first the burglary and then the wedding and then this. It is like a dagger in her heart as she waves a letter around. The letter is from Des and Daphne telling her that they have decided to go away on their honeymoon now that Des's back is better and that she can stay in the house and look after Mike. She bursts into more tears and says it is just too much. Madge says not to worry that she is sure they can sort out something and she will make her a nice cup of tea!
Coffee Shop
There are no customers in the coffee shop as Scott and Mike arrive there to relieve Clive. Clive is just about to leave when Des and Daphne arrive. They tell them that they are going to make a tactical withdrawal with Eileen now in the house and have another bash at their honeymoon and would Clive please look after the coffee shop for them. Mike wants to know what about him, Des says things stay the same just be nice to MUM and Clive says just remember to throw her a lump of raw meat every half-hour and you will be fine. Mike looks a little concerned.

She tells him that he will have to wait as she had only just arrived home and that it is his turn to cook tomorrow and she won't accept fish and chips....they kiss. Just then Clive and Vicki arrive home and Vicki starts to tell them what Clive had bought her. Clive quickly puts his hand over her mouth to stop her and tells them in was a nice juicy and very nutritious apple but Vicki pulls his hand away and says it was an ice cream soda. Clive admits defeat and remarks that she can be very persuasive
Vicki then says to Clive that he was going to tell her about Linda. Clive says that she got sick and has "gone away" Vicki says like George. George was her horse who she had to leave behind when they moved to Erinsbourough. Kate reassures Vicki that George went to a good home. Vicki asks Clive if he would like to see pictures of George and rushes off to get it. Clive wants to know why children accept things easier. Graham says that he has to stop blaming himself and that he is doing alright. Vicki comes back and shows Clive the picture of George as there is a knock at the door.
