"So many things I want to say to you, Kate. Like the fact that you're it for me. I never told you that, did I? I already know that losing you is going to be the biggest regret of my life. How's that for 20- 20 hindsight?"
BRENNAN ON THE RUN
Brennan is sitting in the back a car. A woman gets in, introduces herself as Greta and hands Mark a coffee. She's his handler while he's in witness protection. She hands over a folder containing his new identity.
BRENNAN: Mick Johnson?
GRETA: He's from Tasmania. Bit of a drifter, looking for a new start.
BRENNAN: And you've got work for me?
GRETA: A small mechanic's workshop, hope you don't mind getting your hands dirty.
BRENNAN: No.
GRETA: OK, you probably know the drill, but I've got to go through it with you anyway, yeah? No phone- calls...
BRENNAN: ...no emails, no letters, no contact with anyone from my old life, I've got it.
GRETA: Is any of this going to be a problem for you?
BRENNAN: No. No- one's going to miss me.
Mechanic's Workshop
Brennan's colleague is calling to him, 'Mick' but Brennan isn't used to his new name yet and doesn't reply. He finally looks up and it's his boss who asks him to call a customer to say her car isn't ready yet. His boss is irritated - 'Mick' has been there for months now, and shouldn't be making these kinds of mistakes. Brennan promises to do better.
Later, Brennan comes back from the lunch run, and sees a guy acting suspiciously. His boss shrugs it off and says it isn't a good neighbourhood.
From a distance, Brennan sees a young girl approach the suspicious guy and give him some money.
