Lassiter's Hotel
An angry Krista begs a shamefaced Zac to tell her that Wesley's article isn't true. But he says it is, and that the video is real; he was caught on camera in Darwin in the hotel lift, then got hacked and the video put online.
KRISTA: Okay, so you were a victim in all of this?
ZAC: Yes and no, I...
He turns to look at his colleagues and some guests who are all reading and talking about the article. He asks if he and Krista can go somewhere quiet, so he can tell her the full story.

Paul has been filling in Elle on Terese's marriage proposal and his consequent admission of his kiss with Chelsea earlier in the year.
ELLE: An old version of you wouldn't have told Terese the truth, so I'll give you points for that. In fact, it shows me how much you love her. I hope you can work things out.
PAUL: Thanks, Elle.
ELLE: You must be really upset about the street, too.
PAUL: Yeah. Well, that's pretty surreal, isn't it?
ELLE: Yeah. I was thinking that maybe I can write an article to help the resistance? You know, get a photo of Karl chained to a tree or something?
PAUL: Does the Daily Monster even do those sort of stories?
ELLE: It's connected to the corruption, so I reckon I could sell it.
Elle goes to look at the Daily Monster site, and soon sees the story about Zac. She shows it to Paul...
Lassiter's Complex
Zac is explaining the full story to Krista. He says he's a victim in a way, as the video was released by the hacker. But he takes responsibility for the hooking up at work and giving in to the extortion, which he says was wrong. Krista now understands why he wanted to repay the money for the freebies he was giving out.
ZAC: I'm so sorry. Look, I... I hate that this has followed me here. Wes obviously remembered the tattoo and figured it out.
Meanwhile, Paul and Elle are approaching. Elle is expecting Paul to be annoyed at her for not telling him about Zac's video antics, but he doesn't seem all that concerned. They reach the bench where Krista and Zac are talking.
PAUL (to Zac): Well, you're full of surprises, aren't you?
ZAC: Not anymore.
ELLE: Look, Wes did you dirty. And if you want to leave him a flaming bag of you- know- what at his door, I'm with you.
ZAC: Thanks.
Krista gets a message from Emy Huddle, the rep for the Inspiring Young Person's Award, who she reports is not happy having read the article. Paul then leaves them all to it, telling Krista to keep him posted on how things go.

Remi is smothering JJ in kisses, having missed him while she's been in Apollo Bay. Cara smiles as she watches this. Remi also greets Taye with a hug, and says hi to Felix. Remi asks how things went in Queensland with Cara's mum and Chelsea; Cara says it's taking a while to get used to the reality of Greg being alive after the whole grieving process. We hear Dex has gone to school camp following his last exam.
Felix, JJ and Taye all file out so that Remi and Cara can talk. They each thank the other for keeping them up to speed while they've been apart, then the conversation turns to their relationship.
REMI: Just so you know... there isn't anyone else. That whole Deena thing, it didn't go anywhere.
CARA: Same for me. Not that there was anyone.
REMI: This whole freeway thing has come at an interesting time, though.
CARA: Yeah, the neighbours are really counting on us to be a united front.
REMI: I think we should be. I mean, I'm Team 'Fight the Freeway' all the way. But at some point, we should talk about the long term. Street or no street.
Harold's Café
Nicolette moans to Jane about the 'group admin anergy' that Karl is bringing to the anti- freeway group chat. Clint and Addison come in; they're planning a day out of at the National Gallery of Victoria. Jane asks after them both; Clint tells her that his mum is all set to move into care the day after tomorrow, and his sister's flying in to help.
JANE: So, it's gonna be a time of great change in your household.
CLINT: Yeah, there's gonna be a lot more room, that's for sure.
Addison smiles, and we get the sense she suspects he might ask her to move in. Jane waxes lyrical about the gallery, saying it's one of her favourite things to do. Addison invites Jane to join them if she's free.
NICOLETTE: She is.
JANE: No, I wouldn't want to intrude.
NICOLETTE: Yes, you do.
JANE: Nicolette!
But Addison reiterates her offer, and Jane says she'd love to.
The Waterhole
Krista and Zac meet with Emy, the rep from the awards event. Zac makes a sincere apology but says they won't let it affect the event. Emy makes it clear that there's no judgement from her as regards Zac's private life, but she says that some of their wealthy benefactors are highly conservative. Krista offers to talk to them personally to reassure them.
EMY: They don't think that we should host an event for inspiring young people at a hotel where the assistant manager is caught in... a kinky viral video.
ZAC: I can remove myself from the gala. Step back entirely.
EMY: Unfortunately, we already have a solution. The Quill Group is going to host the event (...) I'm sorry, I had no choice. Given the moral clause in our contract, we have to move venues.
ZAC: Please, don't. Look, the hotel shouldn't pay for my mistakes.
KRISTA: Look, this is hardly fair notice.
EMY: My hands are tied (...) I'm so sorry.
Krista is fuming, as she has 200 guests on the way specifically for the event. Zac looks panicked.

Remi has made the suggestion that either she could buy Cara out of her share in the house, or vice versa, as she feels she can't keep living with the Kennedys indefinitely. She's not in a hurry, but says it would be good to have a plan. Cara looks upset, but says it's okay - the more time that passes, the more it seems like Remi's memory isn't going to return.
REMI: We can still be a family. We'll just have separate houses. It'd be good to have some certainty for us. And the boys.
CARA: Yeah. Yeah, it makes sense.
REMI (smiling): It's really good to see you.
CARA: It's good to see you too.
Harold's Café
Leo comes in and finds Addison in the café. She explains that she decided not to go to the gallery with Clint, so that he and Jane could spend some time together. Sensing there's more to it, Leo asks Addison if there's something wrong.
National Gallery of Victoria
Clint is with Jane, and has received a message from Addison saying she isn't coming after all, but doesn't explain why besides that 'something came up'. They both think it's weird, and Clint worries that Addison might be avoiding spending time with him. He admits that he was going to ask her to move in with him today.
Harold's Café
Addison confesses to Leo that she's worried Clint *doesn't* want her to move in. She's noticed all his comments about having more space in the house now his mum has moved out, and yet he hasn't asked her. Leo assures Addison that Clint seemed 'super keen' on the idea a few weeks ago.
National Gallery of Victoria
Clint tells Jane of Addison's negative reaction last time it was mentioned, and worries she might be dreading the topic coming up, and just wants to keep living with Leo and Krista.
Harold's Café
Addison asks Leo if it's still an option to live with him and Krista, if Clint doesn't want her.
LEO: One hundred percent. And I'm sure it's not gonna come to that.
ADDISON: But if it does... can you just ask Krista for me?
LEO: Of course.
National Gallery of Victoria
Jane tells Clint not to be nervous; he should just ask Addison next time he sees her. Or they could go home and ask her now. Clint says that Addison obviously wants some space from him, so they agree to see the exhibition they'd planned to and see if Addison's open to a conversation later.

JJ is disappointed to hear that Remi and Cara are considering buying one another out of the house, as it seems pretty final. Remi assures him it isn't supposed to - it's just that they need to make some decisions at some point.
JJ: I guess I was just hoping for this arrangement to continue until you get your memory back.
REMI: Yeah, I would've liked that. But it hasn't returned yet.
JJ: So can't you just date each other, or something?
REMI: You just can't force it, bud. And we can't put our lives on hold for something that may never be.
On the plus side, Remi says she's going to petition to get back into medicine. JJ thought she couldn't do that while her memories were still missing, but Remi says she's nonetheless been stable for a long time now, so there's an argument to be made.
Harold's Café
In the kitchen, Cara admits to Nicolette that she's been hit really hard by Remi's talk of house buyouts.
CARA: But I mean, it's fair enough. The reality is that we're at a point that just feels so...
NICOLETTE: Official?
CARA: Sad. I mean, we bought that house together, for our family. It's just hard to accept.
NICOLETTE: I know. Holding on is in your bones.
Cara asks after Nicolette's baby plans; has she chosen a donor yet?
NICOLETTE: No. But I have started window- shopping.
CARA: Well, if you ever need a second opinion. I mean, I'm not a gynaecologist, but I'll have a look.
They laugh. Nicolette then notices Addison is sitting in the café and is surprised, as she's meant to be in the city with Clint and Jane...
The Waterhole
Zac is drowning his sorrows over a drink with Colton, Taye, Max, Elle and Felix.
TAYE: So hang on - you and the Daily Monster editor were getting it on?
ZAC: We really don't need to go into the details.
TAYE: Yeah, fair enough. But that guy sounds super seedy.
COLTON: You should file a police report. Now that it's out in the open.
ELLE: I agree. Whoever hacked into your computer committed a crime.
Zac says he'll let Ramon, the tennis coach he hooked up with, know.
MAX: So was that coach - like, was he a real tennis coach? Sorry - yeah, it doesn't matter.
Felix gets a message from JJ, asking if he and Elle want to meet him at Harold's. The pair leave.
Meanwhile at the bar, Paul (in some of his new trendy gear) and Krista are talking. Krista has decided there's no other way forward except to refund the guests who had booked in for the event, and Paul agrees - they can't risk more bad publicity. They go over to talk to Zac, who apologises again for what he's cost the hotel.
ZAC: I'm willing to resign, save you the trouble of firing me.
But Paul says his fate's in Krista's hands, and says he has to go and meet Terese.
TAYE: Nice shirt, by the way.
Paul acknowledges this with a wave as he leaves! Krista then tells Zac that given the circumstances, she has no choice but to accept his resignation. Zac looks sad, and Colton comforts him.
National Gallery of Victoria
Jane and Clint have left the exhibition and are enjoying one another's company. He asks how it went last week when she met up with Rose, Sam's mum. Jane says it was nice, if a little weird.
JANE: As Nicolette was quick to point out, she's almost a carbon copy of me.
CLINT: Impossible! Come on, Jane, you're one of a kind.
But Jane admits there were lots of similarities between her and Rose. Clint wonders what the 'literary greats' would think about Mike's repetitive taste in women.
JANE: Well, it's a pattern of behaviour that I can relate to. Trying to recapture something that once was - as Sue Parker was keen to remind me not so long ago (...) She just about did a roll- call of all of my exes that I've reconnected with and... well, it was quite a list.
CLINT: Well, if she does that again, we'll tell her to rack off!
They stare at one another wistfully, then Jane suggests they should head back, so that Clint can have that chat with Addison. He agrees, and they head off.
Harold's Café
Leo is filling Krista and Nicolette in on his conversation with Addison earlier, about her being worried Clint will reject her. Krista is sure Clint isn't thinking that.
Meanwhile, JJ, Addison, Felix and Elle are at a table. JJ has been updating Addison on Greg's faked death and the threat to Ramsay Street from the freeway, which he explains is impacting the streets of lots of kids at Erinsborough High. Elle's feeling bad that her story led to it all, but Felix tells her not to blame herself.
While JJ goes to get more drinks, Elle says it's nice that JJ is cool with her after walking in on her and Felix with Cara the other day. Felix tells her not to stress it - it was nowhere near as awkward as Zac's predicament right now.

Colton and Zac are cuddling in the spa together. Zac is feeling sorry for himself about how much he's lost due to the lift video incident. He admits he loved his job, and that he felt he was getting somewhere career- wise, it having been his dream to run his own hotel since he was 22.
ZAC: I mean, who'd hire me now?
COLTON: Give it time. The drama around this won't last forever. How did your mum react?
ZAC: Wasn't the easiest phone call I've ever made. I'm not looking forward to seeing Auntie T either.
COLTON: Maybe Krista will change her mind once all this blows over.
ZAC: I wouldn't hold my breath. Although I somehow managed to avoid one of Paul's infamous teardowns.
COLTON: Yeah, I'm really surprised how he took that. I mean, I get that he's kind of stepped away from the day- to- day Lassiter's stuff, but he's still the co- owner.
ZAC: Yeah, I dunno. He's not himself at the moment.
Colton guesses it's due to Terese turning down his proposal. Zac agrees, and thinks the threat to Ramsay Street may be playing into it too.
ZAC: What else could it be?
The City™
Paul is in central Melbourne, looking up at the high- rise buildings around him with a smile on his face. There's a voice from behind him.
JIMMY: G- Dad.
PAUL: Jimmy!
Paul throws his arms around his (now much taller!) grandson.
PAUL: Hey, I told you not to call me that!
JIMMY: Oh, come on, you love it.
Jimmy says he slept for half the flight from New York, so now he's 'ready to go'.
PAUL: Well, that's good, cos we've got a lot to do - come on.
They head off on whatever mysterious mission beckons...
Harold's Lakeside
Krista is at a table, and Nicolette comes to join her. Nicolette says the place seems like a ghost town; Krista says that it could be the lack of the 200 guests she was just about to check in at the hotel!
NICOLETTE: Now they're all living it up at the Quill hotel café instead!
KRISTA: Be a sign of what's to come if this freeway goes ahead.
NICOLETTE: Paul won't let that happen.
KRISTA: I dunno, he's been very quiet about it.
Krista wants to change the subject, so Nicolette asks if Krista is ready to find another foster kid if Addison ends up moving in with Clint. Krista says yes; she thinks Leo is really on board. Nicolette confirms this, as Leo was telling her himself at Yorokobi yesterday.
KRISTA: He's been amazing - just the way he's pivoted his thinking.
NICOLETTE: He loves you.
KRISTA: I think it's gonna work out for everybody. Us, you, Addison and Clint...
Krista then gets a text message.
KRISTA: Oh my god. I think I spoke too soon...
She shows the message to Nic, but we don't see it.
NICOLETTE: Oh... well, that's gonna get messy.
KRISTA: Yeah.
The City™
Paul and Jimmy are walking by the river - we're none the wiser as to what they've been up to.
JIMMY: So, what do you think?
PAUL: Well, I think it's got possibilities. If the price is right.
JIMMY: I still can't believe the timing of all this. What do you think the chances of Ramsay Street being saved are?
PAUL: Well, it's not looking promising. Btu we'll know more tomorrow.
JIMMY: It must be pretty hard for you.
PAUL: Yeah, it is - it is. More than everyone realises. But you know what? If it is gonna happen, then why not find the silver lining, hey?
JIMMY: You sure you don't want to tell anyone yet?
PAUL: No, no - we'll wait till tomorrow. Because if the meeting is a bust, then it's actually gonna be easier for us.
As they walk on, we suddenly see that Max is passing on a nearby bridge, and has spotted them. Max doesn't know who Jimmy is, but looks intrigued. Paul and Jimmy haven't seen him.
PAUL: Good to have you back where you belong, Jimbo.
JIMMY: You too, G- Dad.
Harold's Café
Jane and Clint come in and see Addison and JJ at a table. Clint is nervous about asking Addison to move in, and almost backs out, saying Addison seems busy. But Jane is sure JJ will give them a minute alone, and encourages him to ask - she'll say yes.
Clint goes to sit with Addison and asks JJ if they can have a moment alone. But at this point, Krista and Nicolette come in.
KRISTA: Addison, I've got some news. Umm... your mum's on her way.
ADDISON: What?
KRISTA: Well, it seems she's been in rehab, and... she says she's clean, and she wants to take you back.
Everyone looks surprised, and Clint a little disappointed...
