Lassiters Complex
Elly walks out of Harold's but gets the uneasy feeling someone's watching her. As she leaves we see the back of a teenage boy, standing there staring after her.

Number 28
Elly returns home and briefly tells Susan about her weird feeling at the complex but doesn't elaborate further. Susan says she's going to Toadie's later to talk about Terese joining the foundation, and comments on how Finn wasn't too keen on the decision.

SUSAN: You and Finn seem to be getting along very well at the moment.
ELLY: Yeah he's fantastic.
SUSAN: He's really stepped up.
ELLY: It's like he thinks he's got Shaun looking over his shoulder cracking the whip. But he's spending a lot of money on the baby.
SUSAN: Obviously he cares about you.
ELLY: Yeah it would seem that way. We are very, very lucky to have him.

Elly notices that Susan looks perturbed and asks if she's okay, but Susan puts her mood down to having a teenage boy around the house again.

Rebecchi Law
Toadie happily tells Finn that the payout from the class action has put the foundation ahead so there won't be any more money worries for a while. They high five at the Buddy Club going ahead but Finn's smile falters when Toadie says Terese wants to work for them. Finn tries to put Elly's name into the ring as a contender but Toadie has to gently let him down - Terese is the more viable candidate for the foundation.

The 82
Dipi is grateful to Gary for giving her a shift at the tram because things have been so quiet at the café. Gary gets her to taste test one of his pies and they have a giggle over the ingredients, enjoying spending time together.

Lassiters Complex/Rebecchi Law
Susan and Toadie talk about David. Toadie believes that Leo will come and save the day once they manage to get a hold of him. Talk then turns to the lawsuit and how much better Toadie is feeling now it's over and he can concentrate fully on Sonya's foundation again. He tells Susan that he definitely wants to offer the manager role to Terese and apologises for not casting the net wider. Susan's confused until Toadie clarifies that Finn was really gunning for Elly to get the job. Susan agrees that Terese is more suitable but looks concerned with how invested Finn was in the decision.

Number 28
Susan's concerns escalate when she overhears Finn telling Elly that he made a trip to Fitzroy to get some specific food she was craving. Elly thanks him and takes her sandwich he made her outside to eat. When they're alone, Susan takes the photo album out of a drawer and places it on the bench for Finn to see. He's immediately on edge.

FINN: Where did you get that?
SUSAN: I found it.
FINN: In my bag?
SUSAN: Yeah. I accidentally knocked it over. Why do you have an album of old photos of you and Elly?

Number 32
Kyle is on a frantic cleaning spree to try and assuage some of his guilt. Sheila is lending him a hand and gets him to calm down when he becomes manic about making sure everything is sparkling. Sheila asks if he's had a blood test to be a kidney donor but Kyle disappointedly says he's not a match. Toadie drops by and jokes that the house smells too clean to be #32. He wanted to let Kyle know the rest of the plaintiffs have signed off so the class action is done and dusted. Toadie adds the money will be in Kyle's account soon, but Kyle says it was never about the cash.

KYLE: I was trying to do what was right except I made everything worse.

He sprints away to polish the fishbowl leaving Toadie and Sheila a bit bewildered.

Power Road/The 82
Toadie is telling Shane about how bad Kyle is feeling, but Shane is distracted when he spies Dipi working at the tram. They have words and Shane reminds her that Gary's business is their competition, but Dipi retorts that Harold's wasn't so important to him when he was helping Toadie out with the class action. Shane re-joins his brother and says that things between him and Dipi will settle down soon, but he doesn't sound too convinced.

Number 28
Susan doesn't understand why Finn didn't throw out the album when he was meant to and says she thinks he's overinvested in Elly. Finn replies that it was only in his bag so he could take it to Doctor Bowman to talk about in his next session.

FINN: I swear, keeping the album is not about Elly at all.
SUSAN: (sceptical) What is it about then?
FINN: Me. I've heard a lot about those missing years, none of it good. But in these photos I look happy, Susan. So does Elly. This album is proof that it wasn't all bad - that I wasn't all bad.
SUSAN: The situation was far more complex than those photographs show. For one thing, Elly had no idea you were married!
FINN: I know.
SUSAN: Why didn't you tell Elly? Or at least ask her if you could keep it?
FINN: I know I should have. I'm sorry.

Susan relents for now and Finn asks what he should do with the album. Susan says that since Elly was planning on throwing it out, she suggests he do just that. Finn looks disappointed.

Harold's Café
It's Dipi's turn to regale Gary with some food as he taste tests something in the kitchen. Meanwhile, Toadie and Shane have brought Kyle in for a coffee and are trying to persuade him to join bike club. But when Kyle says he won't be getting on a bike anytime soon the guys realise their faux pas and apologise. They're soon distracted when Dipi and Gary stroll out of the kitchen, none the wiser to their presence, laughing and joking around. When Dipi and Gary finally take notice of the men, a befuddled looking Shane makes a hasty retreat to check his roster at the pub. Toadie soon follows.

The Waterhole
Toadie buys his bro a beer while Shane laments the fact his wife is hanging out with Gary Canning of all people.

TOADIE: Aka my friend.
SHANE: No offence.
TOADIE: None taken.
SHANE: I just don't see what she sees in the guy.
SHEILA: (overhearing) Aka my first-born.
SHANE: No offence, Sheila.
SHEILA: (angry) Some taken, Shane.

Shane just doesn't get why Dipi prefers to hang out with Gary instead of working on their marriage problems. Sheila points out it's because Shane sided with Toadie instead of his wife and place of business.

SHEILA: You need to get your house in order, and you need to ask yourself why she wants to spend more time with Gary than with you.
SHANE: Because they both like weird food combinations?
SHEILA: No, because she wants to have some fun!

Toadie also points out that things should be getting better now, not worse. Shane thinks Dipi is deliberately trying to wind him up by hanging out with Gary because he's not a fan. Toadie says maybe that's the key - become buddies with Gary too and peace will be restored in the Rebecchi household. Shane doesn't look entirely convinced.

Harold's Café
Dipi is having a rant to Gary about Shane trying to dictate her friendships but Gary is getting uncomfortable with the topic. He doesn't want to cause any issues between them. Speaking of Shane, in he saunters with a weirdly friendly vibe towards Gary, giving him a big smile and a wave. They make awkward small talk and Dipi looks very unimpressed. She quietly asks Shane what the heck he's doing, not believing him when he says he's just trying to be Gary's friend too. Shane continues on with his friendship assault, asking Gary about how he's doing after the whole Prue ordeal. Gary's quite disconcerted.

Number 28
Finn still hasn't thrown out the album and is looking through it once more with a sad smile on his face. He hides it down the side of the couch when Elly returns from the backyard. Elly says she feels like ice-cream so Finn offers to come to the shops with her. He says he needs to get his jacket first, discreetly retrieving the album so he can put it in his room.

The Waterhole
Sheila tells Susan she'd give up her kidney for David in a heartbeat, which Susan agrees with, but it's difficult with Sheila's bad heart and Susan's MS. Kyle is with Toadie at the bar and Toad asks what Kyle might do with his payout. Kyle says he was thinking about giving it all to the foundation, but either way he wants to keep Amy out of it because she wasn't interested in the money in the first place.

KYLE: Things haven't been great between us since the accident.
TOADIE: I saw you guys chatting after Paul made the offer; you seemed okay?
KYLE: It was 'just okay'. I reckon we got a fair way to go.
TOADIE: But you're both working on it right?
KYLE: She says we'll get there but something's not right.
TOADIE: Do you know what that is?
KYLE: I do actually: me. And I wouldn't have a clue how to change that.

Lassiters Complex
Finn teases Elly for biting right into her ice-cream like a savage. He takes out his phone and documents the occasion with a selfie. Finn notices Elly is distracted and she says that she feels like someone is watching her. Finn takes this info on board, but when Elly pretends she's fine, he starts to talk about the photo album.

ELLY: The one I threw out?
FINN: It's been on my mind a bit lately.
ELLY: Why?
FINN: I was married, I was lying to you. It was terrible. But in the photo album we looked happy. Were we? I know I did some bad things I can't remember... I don't know, it was just nice to be reminded that there were some good moments too. Sorry, you probably don't want to talk about it.
ELLY: No, it's okay. There were some good moments. We were really happy.
FINN: What was I like?
ELLY: Okay, well when we were together it felt like we were the only two people in the world. You were really kind and charming, you made me laugh a lot. But I think my favourite part was that every single day you made me feel very loved.

Finn falls quiet. Elly apologises if she was being too full on but Finn says it's okay. They look a bit awkward around each other after that conversation and Elly says she's going to head home. Finn looks at the selfie of them on his phone before watching her go.

Harold's Café
Dipi, Gary and Shane are sitting along one of the benches, side by side. Dipi and Gary look like they'd rather be elsewhere, but Shane has them trapped, keen to keep chatting. Shane invites Gary around for dinner next week and then Gary finally makes his escape home to call Xanthe. Once he's gone, Dipi lays into Shane for trying to weasel into her friendship.

SHANE: I'm not weaselling anywhere.
DIPI: You are and you're loving it.
SHANE: The only thing I'm loving is great conversation with our good friend Gary Canning.
DIPI: Shut up, Shane.
SHANE: What? I love pigeons and weird food combinations.
DIPI: You don't know the difference between basil and parsley and you don't even care.
SHANE: Well maybe I want to learn. Gary could teach me.
DIPI: Shane I am still annoyed at you and you're doing this as payback. I am not going to let you ruin my friendship with Gary again.
SHANE: Our friendship with Gary... And I wouldn't dream of it.

Dipi glares at her husband.

Lassiters Complex
Someone is staring at Elly again while she gets into her car. But Finn's on the case this time and storms over to the offender, grabbing them by the shoulder. The culprit turns out to be none other than Dean Mahoney, the teen bully who tormented Elly at school a while back. Finn is shocked and confused.
