Erinsborough Hospital
Dee is in her hospital room thinking about the past as Susan comes in to visit her. She says she's re-played the accident over and over and finds it strange to realise after all this time that it wasn't her the Zantucks were after, but Andrea.

DEE: I need to know her. I need to know how her and her mother fit into my life. Still...I can't blame her for everything. There was a point where I could have come back but I didn't. Toadie's right to feel betrayed.

Number 30
Mark seems surprised that Toadie has told Dee to leave town, but Toadie points out that Dee made that choice years ago; he's just asking her to stick to it.

TOADIE: She had all the answers. But every day she woke up and actively chose to let me live my life in the dark.
MARK: Leaving your whole life behind can really mess with you. Take it from someone who's spent months in witness protection.

Toadie says that his sole focus should be his children from now on.

Erinsborough Hospital
ANDREA: Well hallelujah, someone finally comes to visit.
WILLOW: What do you expect?

Andrea tells Willow that Mark has visited to ask about her old boyfriend Rog Zantuck, but wouldn't tell her why he wanted to know about him. Andrea seems regretful about what she's done given her and Willow were getting on so well. She blames Heather though, as she's the one who found the real Dee.

WILLOW: Is it true you tried to kill her?
ANDREA: I panicked, ok, I had your nan in my head.
WILLOW: So you could get rid of her and assume her identity?
ANDREA: Ok, it wasn't a clever plan.

Andrea says everything she's done is because she loves Willow and Hugo. Willow isn't at all impressed and says she's come to say goodbye. As she leaves, Andrea calls for her to come back but her attempts prove unsuccessful.

Lassiters Complex
Ebony tells Pierce that he didn't seem to sleep too well last night and he replies that their mattress might just be too hard. She jokes that they'll have to break it in. Chloe gatecrashes the conversation and Ebony is soon jealous given Pierce and Chloe's obvious flirting. As he leaves, Chloe mentions plans for the wedding but Ebony's surprised she still wants to help.

CHLOE: I just want Pierce to be happy...for you both to be happy!

Ebony gives a knowing smile.

The Waterhole
Amy suggests moving the wedding forward so her and Gary can try for a baby sooner; she doesn't want to miss out on the champagne! He seems reluctant and asks if they can wait until he's paid her back what he owes her, but she says once they're married his debt becomes their debt anyway.

AMY: We need to start thinking like a team!
GARY: Yeah, I'm sorry about the photographer.
AMY: When we have a baby I need to know that I can rely on you no matter what.
GARY: Yeah, absolutely. Me, you, baby, we're all in this together!

They kiss. As Amy leaves, Paul and Sheila watch from the bar. She tells him that she can't do this anymore.

PAUL: Oh, you love causing havoc!
SHEILA: Not for my son I don't, not in the slightest.

Paul says that she knows Gary would be terrible with a baby and she looks begrudgingly in agreement.

PAUL: We are doing what is best for everyone.

Erinsborough Hospital
Dee tells Susan that Riley brought in some things to help the police with her identity.

SUSAN: What's your relationship with him now?
DEE: Oh we're just friends. It hasn't been anything romantic for years.
SUSAN: I think it's the romantic part that Toadie's struggling to understand.
DEE: There was a time when I put Riley first. But I never loved him. Not the way I loved Toadie.
SUSAN: After you and Riley broke up did you consider getting in touch?
DEE: Yeah I did, I thought about it a lot. I actually researched Toadie. And that's how I found out he'd met Sonya. She seemed like a really wonderful woman.
SUSAN: Yeah, she was.
DEE: Finding out that she's gone, it feels so wrong, trying to drag Toadie back into the past.
SUSAN: Toadie's love for Sonya doesn't alter the fact that he's happy you're alive.
DEE: You think he is?
SUSAN: Oh Dee, of course he is.

Susan encourages Dee to tell Toadie how she feels.

Number 26
Sheila arrives with Nell in tow, explaining to Gary and Amy that she offered to look after Nell and Hugo for Bea, not realizing that she's due to be back at The Waterhole shortly. She tells them that Hugo needs his nappy changed causing Gary to instantly feel awkward, knowing he hasn't told Amy yet that he doesn't want a baby.

The Waterhole
Chloe finds Pierce sitting at the bar.

CHLOE: So...all wedding systems are go.
PIERCE: Looks like it.
CHLOE: Ok, spill...

Pierce struggles to open up but admits that while things are good between him and Ebony, it keeps bugging him that she thought he would judge her family.

CHLOE: Well I tried to tell her that you wouldn't.
PIERCE: Yeah, that's because you know who I am.

Chloe reassures him that it won't feel like this forever; things are still pretty fresh.

Lassiters Complex
Kyle bumps into Sheila, Gary, Amy and the kids.

KYLE: Aren't you guys the picture. Mum, grandma and the 3 kids.

He offers to help look after the kids but Sheila insists that Amy and Gary have things under control. As Amy and Gary walk off, Kyle looks deflated.

SHEILA: Chin up love, you never know what might be in your future.

Lassiters Lake
Willow greets Toadie who's sitting at a bench by the lake. She asks him if he's thinking about Sonya and he replies that he's thinking about everything.

WILLOW: I've booked a flight back to Port Macquarie. Please tell me you understand.

Number 26
Gary appears to be getting stressed with the kids as Nell keeps running round the house pretending to be an airplane. Amy blames him for giving Nell soft drink after she'd had ice cream, but he remains clueless.

AMY: If she wanted vodka and soda would you give her that?
GARY: Look, I'll just give mum a call and ask her how much longer she's gonna be.
AMY: No, we're not offloading them on to your mum.

Amy goes to check on Hugo just as Nell throws something at Gary.

Lassiters Complex
Chloe is telling Pierce an anecdote about a bride's dress that caught on fire, trying to discourage her from having candles at her wedding. Ebony, however, seems distracted.

EBONY: Are you in love with Pierce?
CHLOE: What? No, I've been doing all this stuff for you guys.

Ebony says she's noticed that Pierce and Chloe seem to have a special connection, which he doesn't have with anyone else, including her. Chloe insists that she's worrying for nothing and they start talking about candles again. As Chloe walks ahead, Ebony still looks concerned.

Number 30
Dee arrives on Toadie's doorstep. She tells him she's getting a plane back to Byron today. She hands him a large box.

DEE: My diaries. After the accident I really struggled to make sense of what life meant anymore. I'd lost everything. My friends, my family, you. I lost myself really. So I started writing in a diary. I found that writing down my thoughts and my memories helped me hold on to something. Maybe they'll help you understand. You know I'll always be grateful for the chance to see you again, it's more than I could have hoped for. But I have my life back in Byron now so, I'll be ok...You'll be ok, too. Bye Toadie.

They share a loving glance before she leaves.

Number 30
Toadie looks over at the box of diaries in silence. Willow arrives to say bye as she's leaving. Toadie tells her she always has a home with him but she admits that it's too hard to stay because of everything that's happened with her mum. Susan arrives to give Willow a lift to the airport. Willow heads to the car after Susan asks to just have a quick word with Toadie.

SUSAN: Are they Dee's?

She gestures towards the box of diaries. He nods.

SUSAN: Have you read them?
TOADIE: Don't really see the point.
SUSAN: Toadie, I understand it's hard to reconcile the choices that she's made and I know that you're hurt. But you can't hold it against her, it's not fair.
TOADIE: None of this is fair!
SUSAN: No, it's not. It's not, your life has been turned upside down multiple times.
TOADIE: Yeah, I'm done with it!
SUSAN: I don't think you are. Sweetheart, I think you're just afraid. But this isn't Andrea that we're dealing with, she can't hurt you now. And I don't think there's anything to be afraid of with Dee.

He looks emotional.

SUSAN: Aw sweetheart.

She hugs him.

Lassiters Hotel
Pierce sees Chloe as he exits the lift and thanks her for reassuring him about Ebony earlier. She says she didn't do that much but he insists she did and says he's going to stop dwelling on the past. He goes on to ask if she'd be happy to help him arrange a romantic night for him and Ebony later and putting her own feelings aside, she agrees, mentioning a restaurant they could go to which has just been refurbished. Ebony sees them in the distance and stops in her tracks. Pierce hugs Chloe and Ebony looks upset.

Number 26
In Amy's absence, clueless Gary is now in the kitchen baking with Nell who has chocolate all over her face. Amy walks in and can't believe what she sees, telling Gary he was supposed to be calming Nell down.

GARY: I wasn't around when Kyle and Xanthe were this age, I'm not exactly an authority when it comes to great activities for 5 year olds.
NELL: I'm 6.
GARY: You're 5, aren't you...?
AMY: ...Ok, why don't we clean all this up before Sheila gets home and then we can play a game of hide and seek. That would be fun, yeah? Burn off some of that sugar.

The Waterhole
CHLOE: So Andrea freaked out Toadie so badly that now Toadie can't even talk to the real Dee. I thought my life was crazy.
KYLE: Your life is crazy.
CHLOE: Ok, point.

Chloe tells Mark and Kyle about Ebony outright asking her if she was in love with Pierce. Mark doesn't seem surprised, given how involved in their business Chloe has been recently. She says that they're currently on a dinner date which she organized for them.

KYLE: Oh yeah, did you organize to put some rat poison in her dessert too? (laughs)

Chloe goes to get another drink just as Pierce walks in. She's surprised to see him, asking why he's not at the restaurant. He tells her that Ebony took the cheque. She left a note saying she didn't want to get married anymore. Chloe looks shocked.

Number 30
Toadie stands over the box of diaries, deliberating over whether to start reading them or not. The first diary reads: 'I can't even cry. I feel empty. My husband's dead. And with him every dream we had. We'll never have a future.'

He picks up another diary. It reads: 'I can barely stop shaking. He's alive. I can't believe Riley and Cecile kept this from me. It hurts more now knowing I can't speak to him than when I thought he was gone.

The next diary is dated 5thFebruary. It reads 'He's married again. Oh God. I don't need to hide anymore but contacting him would just be cruel. It's taken every ounce of strength I have not to reach out. There's no room for me in your world anymore. Goodbye Toadie, I'm so sorry.'

He throws the last diary down, looking deeply moved.

Number 26
Sheila arrives home to find Gary laying on the sofa. He admits that he's knackered after looking after the kids all day and Sheila uses it as an opportunity to make him re-assess whether he really wants another child. Amy walks in from the backyard.

SHEILA: You're the one who needs to want this Gary!
GARY: I'm not telling Amy I don't want another baby, it'll wreck everything!
NELL: (to Amy) Found you!

Gary and Sheila turn to Amy and Nell. Amy overheard everything and looks angry.

- Roxy wants to know about Aaron and David's secret.
- Aaron asks David if he's sure he wants to do this. He is. Roxy overhears.
- Chloe tells Pierce she likes him a lot.
- Gary talks to his mum about his situation. She looks over at Paul in the distance.
- Bea suggests having dinner with Finn, Ned and Yashvi.
- Finn tells David that he's feeling jealous.
