Riley asks Heather where she got the photo of him, Ian and 'Karen' from.

HEATHER: I'm an associate of Jarrod Rebecchi's. His friends call him Toadie.
RILEY: ...
HEATHER: Oh, please don't say you're gonna hold out on me.
RILEY: Well, do you remember every single person you ever took a photo with?
HEATHER: I certainly would if they were that pretty.
RILEY: Well, then you've got a better memory than me.
HEATHER: Well, I'm sure you make up for it in many other ways. Do you remember the man you were standing next to in the photo - Ian Packer?
RILEY: No.
HEATHER: Do you remember where you were when the photo was taken?
RILEY: No, sorry.
HEATHER: Do you know how annoying this is getting?

Giving up on getting anything more concrete out of Riley, Heather gives him her phone number, telling him to call her 'if your memory does come back'.

RILEY: So, why do you want to talk to this woman?
HEATHER: That's between her and I.
RILEY: Well, you could be anyone.
HEATHER: Anyone you want me to! Now, I'll be in town for a few days. Just tell her it concerns Toadie. If Karen is the person I think she is, she'll want to meet with me.
RILEY: And who do you think she is?
HEATHER: I can only tell her that when we meet in person.

Heather touches Riley on the arm, then saunters off, leaving him looking conflicted.

No 30
Yashvi and Willow are whispering excitedly in the corner while looking at Yashvi's phone; Shane wonders what it's about. Suspecting it's about Ned, Dipi - who hasn't told Shane yet that he and Yashvi are dating - suggests it must be a school project they're talking about.

SHANE: Nah. School doesn't put Yashvi in that good a mood!
DIPI: ... Could be a boy...

But before she can say any more, Andrea arrives. Toadie, who's looking after Hugo, opens the door to her. She claims she's left her purse here, so Toadie invites her in. The reason the place is such a mess, he explains, is that he's taking Hugo to a kids' concert at the community centre tomorrow, and he's choosing an outfit for Hugo.

SHANE: Ooh, is he gonna go the old mullet and denim stonewash like his old man did?
TOADIE: Well, it's no Noiseworks at the Colac Showgrounds! But, you know, we all gotta start somewhere, don't we, mister?

Hugo is noncommittal. Andrea likes the sound of the kids' concert.

ANDREA: Do you mind if I tag along?
TOADIE: ...
ANDREA: I don't want to intrude, obviously, if it's too soon for Hugo. And for you, Toad.
TOADIE: It's a public event.
ANDREA: Thank you! That would be awesome!

Keen to be rid of Andrea, Dipi hands her the purse she's been looking for. While Toadie goes to change Hugo, Andrea catches up with Willow.

ANDREA: I'm looking forward to this kids' concert. Do you remember when I took you to Justine Clarke and The Wiggles?
WILLOW: I'll never forget my first wiggly party. That's all that's making you so excited, yeah?
ANDREA: Yeah, what else would it be?
WILLOW: Well, Yashvi's got a date tomorrow and she's pretty pumped about it. And you have the same look on your face.
ANDREA (laughs): Look, I'm just looking forward to spending a fun day with you, and your little brother, and Toadie. There's nothing even remotely romantic about it. Okay?

Willow looks unconvinced.

Erinsborough Hospital
Aaron is dropping David off for his first day back at work following their holiday. Finn turns up for his session with David, accompanied by Bea who is giving Finn a lift here and back. David sends Finn into the office, saying he'll be there soon. While Bea's out of earshot, Aaron remarks at how close friends she and Finn seem to have become. Aaron thinks it's a bit weird.

Byron Bay / Lassiter's
Heather is at the motel in Byron Bay, putting her feet up with wine, nibbles and a magazine, when Andrea calls. Heather rolls her eyes.

ANDREA: Guess what? I am going to a concert today with Toadie and the kids.
HEATHER: Fantastic. Have a lovely time (!)
ANDREA: Well, aren't you gonna ask me what I'm wearing?
HEATHER: I'm expecting a call.
ANDREA: You sound weird. Have you been drinking?

Heather insists there's nothing going on, but Andrea is suspicious.

ANDREA: Shall I just come down to Geelong? Just pop in, say hi?
HEATHER: No! No need. Won't you miss your concert?
ANDREA: Of course not, I've got time.
HEATHER: No - no, really. There isn't. Because, I, err... I might not be in Geelong.

Andrea grimaces, and takes a deep breath.

ANDREA: Where are you? ... Mum?
HEATHER: I'm in Byron Bay.
ANDREA: What?!
HEATHER: Ian said that Karen lived here.
ANDREA: Right. Well, you definitely cannot be there, then!
HEATHER: No, no - I'm coming here to make sure this woman is no longer a threat to you. I mean, what if she turns out to be the real Dee?
ANDREA: She hasn't been in contact with Toadie for years! She would have contacted him by now. Obviously she wants to stay hidden.
HEATHER: Yeah - and what if she changes her mind, yeah?

Heather explains about 'Karen' having applied for the job in the café a few years ago, and about having tracked down Riley, the man from the photo.

ANDREA: And?
HEATHER: Aren't you gonna thank me?
ANDREA: Oh, Mum, just tell me what happened!!
HEATHER: Alright. He said that he didn't remember her. But he's obviously lying. So, anyway, I gave him my number - I just hope he's gonna call back.
ANDREA: Okay, right - come home now.
HEATHER: No! I said I'd be in town for a few days.
ANDREA: No, no, no. I don't want you involved.

Heather is tiring of the conversation, so she starts making crackling sounds to imitate a poor signal!

HEATHER: Oh my goodness, what's that? What's happening with the phone? (More crackling noises) Oh, this connection is terrible!
ANDREA: Oh, how stupid do you think I am?!
HEATHER: Oh, darl, it must be the NBN. Whatever it is... (crackles)... enjoy the concert!

Ending the call, Heather looks exceptionally pleased with herself, while back in Erinsborough, Andrea seethes with frustration! She hurriedly throws some things into a bag...

Byron Bay
On a road by the beach, Riley looks around furtively before getting into a car. He turns to a mystery someone in the passenger seat, who we can't see.

RILEY: She said her name's Heather. This is her number. She said she had news about Toadie Rebecchi, and she wants Karen to call - what do you want to do?

The mystery someone takes the paper with the phone number from Riley's hand...

Lassiter's Complex
Dipi tells Shane she's keen to pop into the kids' concert to see how Hugo is doing, but Shane quickly rumbles her; she really wants to keep an eye on Andrea and Toadie. Dipi reluctantly agrees not to go, but says it was good that Toadie didn't seem to be happy about Andrea accompanying them.

They spot Yashvi and Ned playing with a footy nearby. Shane remarks that Yashvi is wearing make-up, and idly wonders if she has a crush on Ned again.

DIPI: Not exactly... they might actually be on a date.
SHANE: ... Wh-wh-why would you say that?!
DIPI: Because they're seeing each other. It's very early stages, though.

Dipi explains that they've only kissed, but that Yashvi wants to go on the pill. Shane is concerned; Yashvi's barely even had a proper boyfriend. Dipi says that at least it shows she's responsible. She apologises for not telling Shane sooner.

SHANE: It was supposed to happen with some dopey kid from school. We'd get to know him over time, meet his family.
DIPI: You have gotten to know Ned, and you have met his family.
SHANE: Yeah. And we know he's on community service; he used to be in a biker gang; and he dated one of her teachers!
DIPI: You like Ned.
SHANE: Yeah, I did up until 30 seconds ago! I mean, you can't seriously be on board with this, Dipi?
DIPI: Yeah, I get it's a weird situation. But we have to be careful how we react.

Shane pretends to be down with that, saying he and Yashvi are always straight with one another. Dipi reminds him that Yashvi's an adult; she needs to make her own mistakes. Dipi heads back to work, asking Shane to promise that he'll stay calm. He does - so calm, in fact, that he walks straight into a chair because he's so busy watching Ned suspiciously!

No 30
Toadie and Willow are singing 'five little ducks' to Hugo, who seems unimpressed. Andrea turns up at the door; she says she's decided to give the concert a miss.

ANDREA: I just think I kind of pushed you into letting me tag along.
TOADIE: I said it was fine.
ANDREA: Yeah, I know. I just... I know how everyone feels about me, and I just thought it might be a bit weird. I just want Hugo to have a good day.

A slightly weary Toadie just accepts this, and goes to get ready. While he's out of the room, Willow and Andrea talk.

WILLOW: Is this about what I said?
ANDREA: No.
WILLOW: Because I'm cool if you want to go as just friends. I was only worried you might think there's something more.
ANDREA: No, hey, sweetheart - you've got nothing to worry about, okay?
WILLOW: Are you sure?
ANDREA: Yeah, I'm sure, okay? God, everyone needs to stop worrying about me, alright? Just gotta have faith that I can handle things. I gotta go.

A flustered Andrea rushes off, leaving Willow looking concerned.

Lassiter's Complex
Yashvi and Ned are having footy chat when Shane approaches awkwardly.

SHANE: Umm, hey, uh... hey, gang.
NED: ... Hey.
SHANE: What's happening?
NED: Oh, just talking footy.
SHANE: Yeah, right. Right, of course. Hmm.
YASHVI: Don't you have a job to do?
SHANE: Umm, no. Uh, yeah, obviously. I just wanted to come over and say g'day. Hello. Good day. To my, uh, daughter, Yashvi... and her friend Ned. Uh... you've been friends for a while now, and that's great. How long's that been?
YASHVI: Have you been talking to Mum?
SHANE: Uh, yeah, of course - we're married!
YASHVI: About me and Ned, I mean.
NED: No, it's alright, Vee.
SHANE: Yeah, she might've mentioned something about you two seeing each other, but I wasn't really listening.
YASHVI: Yeah, he's my boyfriend - you can say the word, it won't bite.
SHANE: Right, of course. Yeah. Look, I just wanted to say, umm... welcome to the family.

Yashvi stands up and wishes the floor would open under her.

SHANE: No, of course, I wouldn't say that. Because that would be a stupid thing to say, so...
YASHVI: Uh, you can go back to work now, Dad.

Yashvi drags Ned away, and Shane stands there awkwardly.

Erinsborough Hospital
Finn is having his appointment with David, who is hooking him up to the weird electrode things which seem to be a hallmark of their sessions. Finn remarks that it's good to have David back; the replacement doctor was fine, but he does prefer to talk to David. They talk a bit about the adult literacy classes, and conversation moves to Bea.

DAVID: I take it you've been spending a lot of time with her.
FINN: Yeah, she's, umm... she's been a good friend.
DAVID: Do you think you've developed romantic Feelings™ for her?
FINN: ...
DAVID: You've mentioned her a lot lately.
FINN: I think I might be falling in love with her.
DAVID: ... Does Bea feel the same way?
FINN: I dunno. It seems pretty unlikely. We did have this sort of charged Moment™ the other day, but I'm too scared to bring it up again. I don't want to put her on the spot - I mean, given our history.
DAVID: Yeah, it's certainly complicated.
FINN: Yeah.
DAVID: Any romantic relationship between the two of you would be confusing.
FINN: Yeah.
DAVID: I think your instinct to not push anything is wise.

Finn nods, slightly disappointedly.

Lassiter's Complex
Outside the hotel, Yashvi moans to Ned about how humiliating Shane's little chat with them was. Ned tells her not to worry; he found it funny.

NED: Actually, there was, umm... there was one thing. You know how I asked if we could take things slow the other day? Well, you using the B word...
YASHVI (cringing): Boyfriend?
NED: Yeah, that one. Especially in front of your dad. It might just be a little...
YASHVI: Too much, too soon?
NED: Yeah. Do you mind if we dial back on the labels, just for a little bit?
YASHVI: Yeah. No worries.

Finn enters the courtyard with Bea. He suggests they head to the hotel terrace for a coffee, but Bea sees Ned and Yashvi together outside, and looks annoyed. She tells Finn they should go to The Waterhole instead.

Harold's Café
Shane and Dipi are talking about Yashvi and Ned's relationship. Dipi says they simply have to deal with it. Shane replies that he doesn't want Yashvi to get hurt.

Toadie and Willow come in, having had a fun day at the kids' concert. Dipi gently probes about how Andrea behaved; Toadie explains that she decided not to come. He and Willow go to a table. Willow admits she may have been the reason that Andrea decided not to come to the concert.

WILLOW: She seemed really excited about spending time with you, and I called her out on it.
TOADIE: What did she say?
WILLOW: She said it was about spending time with family.
TOADIE: Yeah, right - you and Hugo. You're the priority.
WILLOW: I've seen her like this before, Toadie. So have you.
TOADIE: Willow...
WILLOW: What if she bailed on the concert because she wanted more from you, and she didn't want you to know?
TOADIE: No, no, no - no. Your mum knows that I would never, ever be interested. I think I'm gonna be okay on this one.

But Willow looks highly unconvinced.

Byron Bay
Andrea turns up in a taxi, and looks out at the beach, presumably to see if she can spot Heather.

Lassiter's Complex
Bea and Finn are discussing the kids' concert; apparently she was asked to sing, but decided it wasn't her demographic. Conversation moves on to Yashvi and Ned; Bea asks Finn if he thinks their relationship is moving too fast. Finn looks bamboozled as to why Bea is even asking him; not that it matters, as she goes on to answer her own question.

BEA: I just don't want Yashvi to get hurt. He could be using her to get over our relationship. Not deliberately, but this could be him on the rebound.
FINN: From what I've seen, he seems to genuinely like her.

That wasn't what Bea wanted to hear.

FINN: And I guess it might seem strange for Ned to see you with someone, too. Like this?
BEA: Yeah, well obviously, Ned wouldn't be cool with it. But we're never gonna hook up.
FINN: ... Yeah. Yeah, of course.

He tries not to look too forlorn...

Byron Bay
Heather is painting her toenails when there's a knock at the door. She's evidently hoping it's Riley, as she calls out his name - but it's Andrea, who demands to be let in.

HEATHER: How did you find me?
ANDREA: Cheapest motel in town - where else would you be?
HEATHER: Ha! Says Miss Bargain Basement - how much did that cardie set you back? Five bucks?
ANDREA: You need to follow basic instructions. You're a fugitive, not a detective. You should not have come here.
HEATHER: I am doing this for your own good!
ANDREA: For my good?! What a surprise - it's not working (!) I've got a strategy, Mum. You're jeopardising it. I don't want you involved.
HEATHER: Okay, fine. She doesn't want to know what Dee's up to.

Andrea hits the roof.

ANDREA: Dee? I don't care about Dee! I care about Toadie, and my children. That's it!
HEATHER: You are being so short-sighted, you're as blind as a bat. As long as she's in his life, you will never be happy. She could whisk him away, any time.
ANDREA: No, no, no. So long as I keep building my life with him, okay? It's working, Mum - he's letting me in. But it would be really helpful if I didn't have to keep checking up on you every five seconds! You're a liability!

Andrea slaps Heather on the leg like a naughty child! We hear a text message sound, and Andrea realises she's sitting on Heather's phone. The message is from Riley. Heather is super-excited again.

HEATHER: He wants to meet! What'll we do?
ANDREA: You go to the airport - catch the first plane back to Melbourne. I'll meet with him alone.
HEATHER: No! No, you can't do that!
ANDREA: Yes, I can, and I will. It's done!

Andrea has replied to Riley using Heather's phone. Heather is now upset.

HEATHER: Listen - you won't let me see Hugo or Willow or Ian. You won't let me help. I'm your mother; I'm not a mushroom!
ANDREA: What part of 'I don't want you involved in this' do you not understand?! I want you out of my business. If you can't stay out of my business, stay out of my life.
HEATHER: Jarrod'll never love you as much as he loves Dee.
ANDREA: ...
HEATHER: Sorry. Sorry, pumpkin. Pumpkin, I'm sorry.
ANDREA: Just go home, Mum.

Heather pulls a naughty schoolgirl face as Andrea leaves the motel.

No 30
Willow and Yashvi are discussing possible venues for Yashvi's next date with Ned. Yashvi moans about Shane's intervention. We hear Hugo calling from the other room, and Yashvi goes to tend to him. Toadie asks Willow if she's heard from Andrea; she says not since this morning.

TOADIE: I've been thinking about what you brought up earlier.
WILLOW: You told me not to worry.
TOADIE: I know, but I also realise that this is Andrea we're talking about. And it's not out-of-character for her to have some kind of crazy idea. So I will talk to her.

Byron Bay
High on the cliffs overlooking the sea, Andrea is sitting on a bench, looking contemplative. There's a female voice from behind her.

WOMAN: Heather?
ANDREA: No.

Andrea turns around to look at the newcomer. A woman in a white billowy dress and a headband has appeared. A woman who, otherwise, looks pretty well identical to Andrea...

The two women stand staring at one another - their mirror images - in awestruck silence, from either side of the bench.

WOMAN: Who are you?

Andrea continues to stare in disbelief.

The closing credits roll, and there is no Special Appearance™ credit, nor any mention of 'Karen' - instead, they tell us that the woman Andrea's just met is none other than Dee Bliss...
