Charlie's
Paul is bright and breezy but Rebecca is not. She informs him that PirateNet is sold. Paul asks if she's seen the paper but Rebecca is too busy and walks away. Paul tries to follow her but is intercepted by Declan. Paul tells Dec that he's trying to fix things because he and Rebecca love each other. He will bring the family back together. Declan tells him not to hold his breath. In the office, Rebecca plays with her wedding ring and sighs.
Number 30
Toadie ends a call to Steph and shouts to see what Callum wants for breakfast . Sonya springs out of nowhere and suggests he probably wants bacon. She asks how he is and he tells her that being public enemy number 2 hasn't done much for his ego. They have a hug which makes Toad feel better. Sonya asks after Cal and Toadie reports that he spends most of his time in his room, won't speak to him and hasn't opened the letter Steph wrote him. Tea is next on the agenda. Toadie broaches the subject of "them" now that everything is out in the open. They agree on baby steps. Yes, well it was the patter of tiny feet that started all this hassle in the first place wasn't it? Callum emerges and is pleased to see Sonya. They cancel the tea and decide to go out for breakfast instead. Sonya suggests Callum might want to take Steph's letter along too.
SONYA: No pressure, but you might want to read it later.
Harold's
Breakfast was pretty good. Sonya updates the boys on Rocky's progress, he passed his latest assessment but did help himself to some of his trainer's sandwich. Kate comes over and asks Callum to look out for Sophie today. Dean told her that she has a voice that could cut glass and she's a bit upset.
CALLUM: But she does have a voice that could cut glass.
KATE: Yeah, but you can't tell her that!
Toadie explains to Sonya that the school bought PirateNet so the kids are going on air today. On line, corrects Callum. He and Sophie get set for school. Sophie says she's not talking but Cal thinks that she'd better start as he's going to need a radio buddy. Toadie thinks he's too young to do comedy but that doesn't stop him, so Dean shouldn't stop her.
Sonya reckons Callum is going to be fine. Toadie thanks her and invites her to a no strings lunch.
Charlie's
Donna bounces into the bar to see the glamorous philanthropist who owns it "hot as well as community minded - look out!". Rebecca doesn't know what she's on about, but then, she hasn't seen today's Erinsborough News headline. " MY GIFT TO THE CHILDREN: Local Businesswoman to put schools on- line." Declan reads the glowing story of Rebecca, PirateNet and the local schools. Donna thinks it's a great photo and to get on the front page and five paragraphs all about you is like having your own personal cheer squad.
DECLAN: If he thinks this is going to get him back in your good books....
REBECCA: It is a nice photo, isn't it?
DECLAN: Mum!
REBECCA: Oh please! Give me some credit it's not going to make any difference.
She goes off to read the article properly leaving Donna and Declan to speculate whether it'll get Paul any closer to moving back in.
PirateNet
Callum and Sophie aren't impressed to see so many year 11s, they'll never get a go. Natasha isn't so pleased to see year 7s either.
ANDREW: Give them a break. They're intellectual giants compared to Kyle.
NATASHA: Go tell your jokes to your sad cougar uni chick.
Summer tells them to grow up, they're both losers. Michael welcomes the students to the station and explains that it will be a shared facility with other schools. (I.E "Westie Bogans") Zeke tells them they're getting first shot, however, so he'll show them the ropes. Natasha still isn't impressed she has to share the airwaves with year 7s.
Harold's
Callum updates Sonya on when he'll be making his radio debut. Toadie congratulates him, but it's still fairly awkward between them. Donna calls over that she can give him tips if he needs them. Lucas walks In and is surprised to see how quickly Sonya has forgiven Toadie.
LUCAS: How did he break it to you? I'm guessing it wasn't on the radio.
Sonya and Toadie try to put him off discussing it further, but the penny has already dropped. Lucas realises that Sonya already knew. Callum is shocked to find out that Sonya was in on the secret and thus "lied" to him also. He runs off.

Callum rejects a call from Toadie. He's dropped his new material too because it sucked. Sophie panics about what they'll do. Zeke comes in to show them how to fade out, cut the muc? And shebang. Sonya tries to call and also gets rejected. Sophie is worried as she looks up to see Mike and a bunch of year 11s gurning through the studio window.
SOPHIE: Hi this is the all new PirateNet with Sophie and....er, SophieandCallumfromErinsboroughHigh and um, here's another track.
Harold's
Sonya still can't get Callum to pick up. Toadie tells her he's probably on air anyway so they get out Toadie's netbook to listen in.
PirateNet
Sophie wants to know what's wrong with Cal, normally she can't shut him up. Tash flounces into the studio and declares she's ready for her interview. She puts on her sunnies for effect.
Harold's / Pirate Net
Donna and Kate gather around to listen to the show too.
Callum blasts off the first PirateNet show with a celebrity interview. He introduces Tash and gets stuck in.
CALLUM: So Tash, you're famous. You were the face of PirateNet. That's cool. A lot better than being the butt! So you've got an older boyfriend is that right?
TASH: Yeah. Hi Kyle! He's got great guns...
CALLUM: Being in love you guys must share everything. Music, DVDs...a brain! I'm kidding, I'm kidding, we all know how smart Tash is. Pity she doesn't show it. In fact, if I wanted a brain transplant, I would chose Tash's because I would want one that had never been used.
Sophie tries to chime in and exercise some diplomacy but Callum is on a roll "And what is with Tash? Is that short for Trash?" Michael appears at the studio door and tells Callum that's enough.
Toadie decides he'd better get down to the school.
Erinsborough High
Mike invites Callum to explain himself. Cal says he's a comedian.
MIKE: I've got to admit, it's quite an act you've got there.
CALLUM: I do my best.
MIKE: I'm not talking about the comedy.
Mike suggests that he's going through a tough time at home and these things have a way of coming out, no matter how you try to keep them in, and people get hurt. Callum is just about to open up to Mike when Toadie strides in to tell him he's in ten flavours of trouble. Cal asks if he can go on air. Mike agrees if he apologises to Tash on his show.
Charlie's
Rebecca notices Paul grinning at the bar and asks "Kim", one of the bar staff, to serve him. Paul says it's ok, he's not staying. Rebecca tells him that the article in the paper won't work. Paul plays innocent - he doesn't know what she's talking about, but if she has a problem she should take it up with the editor. He's just passing through though, so he leaves, leaving a rather obvious gift on the bar. Declan scoffs at Paul's blatant behaviour. Rebecca decides to see what the gift is. It's a rather gorgeous watch with a Christmas card saying "So you'll always be on time for every meeting." Me thinks Rebecca's resolve may be starting to crack.
Later on Rebecca is staring at the watch, thinking, when Diana comes in.
DIANA: Did you buy it yourself or was it a peace offering?
Rebecca takes her order and Diana comments to Declan that she didn't think Rebecca would be so easily swayed, she knows what Paul is up to. Declan is sure she's not going to fall for it. Diana tells him not to be, she was trying it on for size! Declan goes over to the bar and swipes the gift bag. He tells Rebecca that he's taking it back to Paul and telling him where to shove it. Rebecca says that he's not and she's capable of making her own decisions.
DECLAN: Well we know how that's going to pan out.
REBECCA: I beg your pardon?
DECLAN: Well you've taken him back before.
REBECCA: Whatever I decide it is my decision and mine alone.
Declan says that he has to live with it and so does India. He wants her to call Toadie and file for a divorce. She deserves so much better.
After the break Rebecca and Declan sit in the office. Rebecca says that if she does file for divorce she'll do it on her own terms and when she's ready. She didn't say she's going to take him back, but if she does it's going to be because it's what she wants.
REBECCA: Remember, I knew Paul when he was just Paul. He wasn't some business mogul and I think that if I can take him away from the business he can be that person again. Declan, you know I want what's best for you, but I would never dictate who you were with.
Declan thinks this is different because it's Paul. He won't let him hurt her. Rebecca appreciates the thought but she's a big girl. She will need his support whatever she decides though. I wonder what Gail and Rebecca would make of one another.
Declan goes back out into the bar. Diana hopes he talked some sense into his mother. Declan tells her to mind her own business, Rebecca can make up her own mind. Diana spies the watch on Rebecca's wrist and comments that it looks like she already has.
Harold's
Toadie is concerned that Callum isn't even a teenager yet. What will he do when that happens? (Next week) Sonya assures him that he's just letting off steam and he needs some time. Toadie thanks her for hanging out today. They get their coffees with a small side order of awkward and decide they should head back to work. Lucas comes in as Toadie leaves and they have the "about before" "don't worry about it" bloke conversation. Sonya tells Lucas that she found out at the hens night - Steph told her.
SONYA: I wanted to tell you. You know, I think Steph really loved you. Look, part of me didn't want to know, but part of me was glad because it meant that Toadie still loved me.
LUCAS: You two were good together.
SONYA: Yeah, and so are we. You're a good friend. You know if you ever want anything to do with me after all this...you know where I am.
Erinsborough High
Callum tells Sophie that he has to apologise to Tash on air before he's allowed to do anything else on the show. Sophie's is ok with that, but Andrew, who comes by to congratulate him has other ideas. He thinks Callum was hilarious and sometimes you've just got to stick to your principles. Sophie tells Callum not to listen to him, he should just apologise and get it over with. Callum gets his stuff out of his locker and finds Steph's note.
PirateNet
Cal joins Sophie in the studio and locks the door. He turns off the music and introduces himself. He explains that he's supposed to apologise for what he said about the principle's daughter but he doesn't see why because his comedy is observational. It's funny because it's true and all he said was that Tash acts dumber than she is. Why should he apologise when it's the adults who do all the lying and cheating. He invites listeners to call in with their lying adult stories. He decides to get the ball rolling with his own story. Michael calls to him to open the door.
CALLUM: This is a letter from Steph, you know, the chick who's having her best friend's husband's baby.
Sophie puts her hand over the microphone and tells him not to do this. Callum cannot be stopped, however and he reads Steph's letter on air.
CALLUM: "We didn't tell you because we didn't want you to get hurt". Well that didn't work did it? Because my dad and his fake wife are the talk of town and she's done a runner, I'm left to take the flack.
Mike and Zeke eventually find the right key to the studio and cut the mic before Callum can say any more.
Number 30
Toadie is just so disappointed, he doesn't know what to do with Callum. What he said about Tash was appalling but what he said about Steph was really inappropriate. Callum wonders about what he and Steph did to him. Even Sonya lied to him. He's just a child so he doesn't matter? Toadie shouts that no matter how he felt he had no right to do what he did today. Mike backs Toadie up.
CALLUM: Well it was the truth. Not that you'd know what that is.
He rips up Steph's letter and says that's it's ok for her, she can run away, he can't.
MIKE: Callum, your dad's just worried about you, that's all.
CALLUM: He's not my dad. He's just some random and he doesn't have the right to tell me anything.
