No 22
Terese is relieved when Tyler and Piper come in - they've been on a trip out to the peninsula where Piper was washed up after her kidnapping by Louise, but Tyler says it was a bit much for Piper. Terese is annoyed with him for taking her back out there, but Piper insists it was her idea, not Tyler's.

PIPER: Facing my fears has worked up until now.
TYLER: I should never have let you go near the water.
PIPER: Ty, you're not a mind-reader! I thought if I could get in the water, I could prove to myself that I was over it. It's just a good thing that you were there to calm me down... Your trial is so close, Ty. I don't want to waste any time stressing over this.

Terese suggests they all go out for dinner. Piper agrees, but wants to give Clementine a hug first, and asks where she is...

The Vet's Surgery
The vet, Sarah, examines Clementine and asks Ben and Xanthe what happened. They explain they found her in the middle of the road, and say they think she may have eaten something to make her sick. On the way here, she's had shallow breathing and muscle tremors.

XANTHE: She's fought off snakes before, so whatever she's eaten now must've been really strong to knock her down like this!

Sarah takes them into the treatment room, where she plans to Run Some Tests™.

The Waterhole
Paige is on the phone telling some underling to organise something for Toadie's dream party event at Lassiter's.

PAIGE: We want mullet photos. It is the nineties.

Jack is sitting with her, looking amused - and afterwards, they discuss the party and the fact that Jack won't be there as he's looking after Gabe. Paige suggests he come and pick up Gabe then stay for the first hour before going, and Jack agrees. Paige suddenly grabs an awkward Jack's hand.

PAIGE: Listen, I really need to thank you for everything you've done for me this past week. I don't think I could've got through it without you.
JACK: That's not true.
PAIGE: No, no - seriously. You coming to Adelaide, and then finding the venue for Gabe's naming day -

Steph suddenly turns up, interrupting; she was due to meet them to discuss the naming day arrangements and is surprised that Mark isn't here yet. Steph has just read the blessing that Jack has prepared, and thinks it's beautiful. Paige looks slightly jealous as Steph hugs Jack. Paige gets a message from Mark, saying he's held up with Aaron. Jack says they should wait till he gets here.

Harold's Café
Steph bumps into Toadie, who's been busy in a meeting with Tyler's barrister. He's also heard from Sonya in the US, where Zoe is being 'super-brave' and Walter is back in Alcoholics Anonymous. Toadie asks for Steph's news.

STEPH: I think I am in love with Jack.
TOADIE: Wow.
STEPH: Yeah. You look surprised.
TOADIE: Well, it's just been a while since you've used The L Word™.
STEPH: I know. And I'm surprised too. I mean, I've always enjoyed his company, but love? I just didn't think it was gonna get that serious.

Steph explains that missing Jack over Christmas, and her reaction to him spending time with Paige and Gabe when she got back, has led her to realise the extent of her feelings. She's now also thinking of asking Jack to come to Fiji with her to visit Charlie. Toadie promises to help Steph with her visa application for the trip, as soon as the party and Tyler's trial are done with.

Susan comes in to talk to Dipi, who assumes she's come to apologise for Elly's failures in informing her about Kirsha being bullied. Susan says the school regrets what Kirsha's been going through...

SUSAN: ... and as a mother, I completely understand your reaction (...) But I've spoken to the staff, and I believe that Elly handled the situation appropriately.
DIPI: What?!
SUSAN: There's a protocol the school has to follow. The first step is to get the students involved to sit down together. Often an honest conversation is very effective.
DIPI: Kirshy is terrified of that little monster. That was never going to work.
SUSAN: Yeah, and that became very clear. And at that point, Elly was phoning you to bring you into the loop.
DIPI: So she says.
SUSAN: But then you stormed into the school and abused her.
DIPI: That's not exactly what happened, Susan!
SUSAN: Dipi, I'm sorry, but I believe Elly has followed the correct guidelines. In fact, if anyone needs to look at how they handled the situation, I'm afraid it's you.

Dipi looks shocked.

The Vet's Surgery
Ben is feeling guilty for Clementine's situation - telling Xanthe that he should have contacted Tyler the moment Adrian showed up at the garage. Xanthe says he couldn't have known this would happen. Sarah the vet emerges, with good news - she's pumped Clementine's stomach and will keep her overnight, but the prognosis is good.

SARAH: She ingested some sort of toxin. People leave these things around without thinking.

She then presents them with a $900 bill! Xanthe decides to call Terese.

Harold's Café
Terese, Tyler and Piper are having dinner. Piper evidently isn't feeling great, and announces she's heading home for a nap. She tells Tyler she'll call him later. Once Piper's gone, Terese tells Tyler to think more carefully before taking Piper to places that might trigger her anxiety. He assures her he intends to protect Piper, but Terese remarks that that won't be so easy after the trial.

Terese gets a call from Xanthe about Clementine, and she and Tyler head to the vet's. Meanwhile, Dipi moans to Mishti about Susan giving her a telling-off. Mishti tactfully tells Dipi that yelling at the assistant principal might not have been the best strategy.

MISHTI: Sometimes you can get a little bit too fired up when you're protecting your family.
DIPI: I don't believe there's any such thing!

Mishti reminds Dipi of her behaviour towards Leo at the Australia Day barbecue.

MISHTI: All I'm saying is that there is a pattern of behaviour here.
DIPI: I stand up for the people I love. And I'm not going to apologise for that.

Dipi marches off.

The Waterhole
Elly finds Paige getting tearful over the blessing that Jack has written for Gabe. Jack joins them.

PAIGE: Steph was right. This is so beautiful.
ELLY: I wouldn't expect anything less from Erinsborough High's best counsellor!

Mark then joins them, apologising for being late - he's been all over the place supporting Aaron and Tyler. While Mark and Jack are at the bar, Paige feels bad for being annoyed with Mark for being late, when he was just helping his brothers. Elly has her own worries; she's concerned that Susan will be annoyed at her for mishandling Kirsha's bullying, and prepares to head home to face the music.

Before she goes, Elly remarks that it's good that Mark and Jack are getting along again, after what happened the other week. When Paige makes it clear she doesn't know what Elly's talking about, Elly realises she's put her foot in it - as Paige forces her to explain...

No 28
A contrite Elly arrives home, fully prepared for a telling-off from Susan about her performance at school. But on the contrary, Susan says Elly didn't deserve any criticism from Dipi - and is thrilled with how well she's been doing as acting principal. She also commends Elly on the assignment she set about sexism in the workplace.

SUSAN: In fact, I have so much faith in your ability, I am going to recommend to the school board that they make you assistant principal permanently.
ELLY: Wow! Thank you!

The Vet's Surgery
Xanthe and Ben are filling in Terese and Tyler on Clementine's situation - the vet thinks rat poison may have been to blame. Ben has been quietly telling Tyler about the note from Philip Banks' gang in Clementine's collar, and Xanthe encourages them to tell Terese the truth. Tyler tells Terese that Clementine's poisoning is revenge for Tyler not cooperating with Adrian's demands.

BEN: And they've made threats against Piper in the past.
TERESE: We have to call the police!
TYLER: Telling the police will put her in more danger! Please - you can't do anything!

Terese objects, but eventually agrees to give Tyler time to think about how to handle Adrian. In the meantime, she tells him not to let Piper know about this - she's fragile enough as it is.

TYLER: I promise, I won't let anything happen to her.

The Waterhole
Paige is asking Gabe what he thinks Mark and Jack have been holding back from her! Gabe doesn't have any answers, so Paige asks Jack - who has been playing pool - about the fight with Mark while she was in Queensland.

PAIGE: I'm just trying to imagine what made you so angry that you felt the need to punch him in the face.
JACK: There was a lot of tension about Gabe's kidnapping, and how we both handled that.
PAIGE: That was it?
JACK: It was enough.
Jack apologises for having lost control.

JACK: I was having a bad day - and I missed you while you were away.
PAIGE: ... You mean, you missed Gabe?
JACK: ...
PAIGE: You missed *Gabe*!
JACK: ... Yes. I missed our son.

Paige looks concerned at what Jack has said.

Ramsay Street
Tyler and Terese pull up outside Number 22. Tyler asks if he should come in and check on Piper, but she rather tersely tells him he has other things to deal with - so he leaves.

Dipi is moaning to Shane about how the school handled Kirsha being bullied, but Shane also tells Dipi that her flying off the handle at Elly didn't help - and has in fact upset Kirsha even more.

SHANE: Look - I know we all joke about Dragon Dipi. We love how fiery and passionate you are, and I know I'm not one to talk. But maybe you want to work on your delivery sometimes.
DIPI: Really? I suppose I've always thought you can never be too protective. But if I'm making things harder for Kirsha, maybe it's time to make a change.

Shane kisses her.

Dipi arrives to see Elly.

DIPI: I wanted to apologise. I overreacted earlier.

She says that she was worried about Kirsha, but that it wasn't an excuse - she should have had a rational discussion with Elly instead of going berserk. Elly explains that all the staff are now looking out for Kirsha - and that Tia has been put on a personalised discipline programme, and will be enduring compulsory counselling with Jack! Dipi seems satisfied with this, and thanks Elly.

The Waterhole
Paige is in an emotional mood, looking fondly at pictures of her and Mark - and then of Jack and Gabe...

No 30
Toadie is trying to seek costume advice from Steph for his party, but she's too distracted. We soon learn why - she's invited Jack around for a chat, and he duly appears. Toadie heads out to give them some privacy. Steph sits Jack down and tells him she's planning on a trip to Fiji to see Charlie - and that she'd like him to come along.

STEPH: Adam's already met you, and I'd really like Charlie to have the chance to meet you too.

Charlie's already met Jack too, Steph - but whatever! Jack doesn't call her out on the mistake, but doesn't look wholly keen on the Fiji trip idea. He looks even more disconcerted when Steph implies that the only reason Max (with whom things have been strained) is letting her come is because she said Jack would go too.

JACK: Why?
STEPH: Because of who you are. And because of the way I speak about you to Charlie. And because of how important you are to me. The thing is, I... I love you. I know we said we wouldn't define this - that we'd just see where it led. But I really like where it's led. It's made me happy, and feel grounded. And we have fun. And I love you.

Jack seems pretty lost for words, but eventually manages to summon up an...

JACK: I love you too.

They kiss and hug, but of course it's a Revealing Hug™, from which we glean that Jack isn't particularly comfortable with these latest developments.

No 32
Toadie and Shane are in the back garden. Shane's telling Toadie that he may go to uni next year to study engineering. Dipi is in the shed, looking for a vinyl of some musical she likes. Shane explains that Clancy the dog has chewed it up, and that it's 'pretty much cactus'!

Dipi is about to go off on a tirade, but then remembers about her new pledge to tone down the 'dragon', and instead goes to lie on the grass to look at the clouds, to help her calm down!

SHANE: So you're just gonna randomly lie down and stare at the clouds whenever you get stressed, are you?
DIPI: If that's what it takes, yeah.

Toadie and Shane go and lie down either side of her in solidarity, and Dipi smiles.

The Waterhole
Ben and Xanthe come in, and find Tyler moping at the bar. Ben asks if he's spoken to Adrian yet - he hasn't, but Ben thinks he should.

XANTHE: Maybe Terese is right - maybe you should contact the police.
TYLER: No.
BEN: We can't keep ignoring him. If you put it off any longer, then -
TYLER: Yeah, I know that!

Taken aback by Tyler's bad mood, Xanthe and Ben leave to let him cool off. Once they've gone, Tyler calls Adrian.

TYLER: Adrian, it's Tyler... I'll do whatever you want me to do. Just don't hurt Piper or her family.

Monday on Neighbours
- Isabelle Hoyland is back in Ramsay Street
- She smiles into a mirror, then walks onto the street past giant text saying: 'THE HOMEWRECKER'
- Susan saying that nothing is as it seems with Isabelle

- Piper and Tyler lying on a bed together
- 'THE RUNAWAYS', says the caption, as they look into a mirror, wearing costumes

- Holly asks Izzy when she's 'going to tell them'. She replies, 'not right now'
- Police sirens blare as Tyler and Piper run across a rooftop
