- Evan tells Yashvi that's she's not supposed to drink.
- Yashvi comes home drunk.
- Dipi warns Evan off Yashvi.
- Incognitro is back online.
- Terese doesn't think that her treatment is working.
- Paul and Gary both think that Terese should consider other options.
- Nick is arrested.
- Gary visits Nick in jail.
Nick is shocked to hear that Terese is ill. He does know about Josh's death, but he didn't know she had broken up with Brad, never mind formed a new engagement. He had written to Terese after Josh died, but got no reply. Gary sympathises, having experienced jail himself - it's another world inside.
Gary explains that Terese doesn't know he's there. He tells Nick all he can about Terese's condition, but Nick will need to see her medical records. Gary will only be able to get them with Terese's permission.
Terese is off for a nap. Ellie and Xanthe pop round to see Piper. She thought it was Terese's assistant Val, but he's been checked out and apparently he's clear. Ellie suddenly wonders if it might be someone at school, but doesn't say who.
Yashvi awkwardly says hello to Evan. When she's gone, Ben tells Evan that Yashvi likes him and he should give her another go.
Sheila is shocked to hear that Gary has visited Nick. She points out the effect he had on Georgia and Naomi, never mind giving Paul cancer treatment that he didn't need. Gary has spoken to a mate inside and apparently Nick has reformed - he even diagnosed the governor's cancer and saved his life.
GARY: You know how I feel about Terese, mum, I'd do anything for her! And I believe Nick can help her. He just needs to see her medical records.
SHEILA: She's not going to want to have anything to do with him, love.
GARY: I'm going to talk to her anyway.
Yashvi is banging dishes and sulking. Shane comes out and tells her to drop the attitude.
Evan comes in and suggests they go on another date. Yashvi casually says she'll have to ask her dad, but she is secretly pleased.
Wayne is working at a table. Elly comes in and tells him there's a computer glitch at school, so she'll have to seize his laptop. He isn't impressed and tells her that he has lessons to plan. She tries to insist, but Wayne holds on to the laptop.
WAYNE: This is ridiculous, it's the weekend! I'll give it to you on Monday.
He leaves, taking the laptop with him.
Gary has broken the news that he has been to see Nick.
GARY: Please, don't be mad.
TERESE: Wel, then, what should I be, then? What, grateful?! I mean, surely you know what he did to Paul and Georgia? And then for his own twisted amusement, he belittled Brad and he made Imogen and Josh feel worthless. How could you think going to see him was a good idea?
Piper confesses that she told Gary about Nick, although she had no idea he would go and visit him in jail(!) Gary felt like Terese was giving up on things. Terese says she did have a moment, thinking about Josh and her own mortality, but she's fine now.
PIPER: But Mum, is it really so bad? Like, whawt if Uncle Nick can help?
GARY: He just needs to look at your medical records.
TERESE: No, no! Absolutely not. I don't want him involved, I don't trust him!
GARY: Well, how many times has Paul crossed people, and they still give him chance after chance!
TERESE: This is nothing to do with Paul. This is about my brother and I am not ready to have him back in my life.
GARY:(desperately) Well, what if there's a chance he could make you better? Isn't it at least worth hearing him out?
He tries not to cry.
Tyler and Ben are hanging out. Tyler's mother has arrived back in Adelaide and Ben is having trouble coping with Elly's slobbiness around the house while Karl and Susan are away.
Evan comes over and says he's asks Yashvi on a date. But at the same time, he is messaging another girl online. Ben looks shocked.
Yashvi asks Shane if she can go on a date with Evan. Shane isn't pleased and says she'll have to asks Dipi. He finally relents and says she can go as long as there is no drinking.
Piper and Xanthe are still trying to think who Piper's online stalker is. Yashvi overhears and tells them Elly thinks it is "Mr Baxter" (Wayne) as she was trying to get him laptop off him earlier. Piper decides to send Incognitro a message "You're worse than Matthew Hopkins". This is a reference to a famous witch-burner. All they'll have to do is search Wayne's Google search history and see if he looked it up. They'll need to get hold of Wayne's laptop.
Terese has calmed down a bit and tells Paige that she can see why Gary approached Nick. She's still not happy about it though.
TERESE: Nick did terrible things. I'm not sure that I can forgive him.
PAIGE: Then don't. But he's good at what he does, right?
TERESE: He's the best.
PAIGE: So let him try to help. No-one said that you had to like him in order for that to happen.
Clive and Sheila are discussing Nick. Then he invites her to go and see the Book of Mormon with him.
Piper and Xanthe come in and see Wayne at a table, working on his laptop. Xanthe goes over and causes a distraction, offering him a treatment at the day spa. While they're talking, Piper successfully nicks Wayne's laptop, but unfortunately Sheila sees her and causes a scene.
PIPER: There's evidence on there that proves that you're trolling me!
Wayne look takenaback.
SHEILA: Is that true?
WAYNE: No, of course it's not.
PIPER: Of course it is. I mean, look at him. He's guilty as!
SHEILA: If you have nothing to hide, you won't care if I go and ring the police!
She heads off to the police station, still holding Wayne's laptop.
Terese has come to see Nick. Over a musical interlude, she approaches his table.
TERESE: Hello, Nick.
NICK: I'm glad you came.
Piper and Xanthe are reporting back to Yashvi what happened with Wayne. They are confident that he is the troll.
Ben comes in and tells Yashvi that he's worried that Evan is messaging other girls on his phone, and she shouldn't invest too much in him. Yashvi casually says that it's not a big deal to her (but it clearly is)
Terese and Nick are discussing her treatment. Nick thinks Terese's oncologist should try immunotherapy. He thinks it would be appropriate given the type of Terese's tumour. Terese awkwardly says that she's heard he's doing well in jail. Nick says it's actually been good for him - he's learnt a few things about himself.
TERESE: So, can you help me?
NICK: Yes, I can. But not from in here.
TERESE: OK. So when are you next due for parole?
NICK: Well, I've been eligible for a while. The last time I went up for it, Paul Robinson, he sent in a lawyer armed with a follow-up victim impact statement.
TERESE: Well, can you blame him?
NICK: No. But if you want me to oversee your treatment, I have to get out.
TERESE: Well, what can I do?
NICK: Get Paul to change his mind.
PAUL:(shouting) NO, NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!
TERESE: But he can help me!
PAUL: The man nearly killed me! Oh God, you know what? After everything that he did to me, I can't believe that you actually went to see him!
Terese explains that it was Gary who contacted him. Paul is very agitated and says Nick is leveraging Terese's condition to get out of jail!
TERESE:(desperately) He's an expert in his field, and I really do believe that he can help me!
Paul is not impressed.
TERESE: OK. Do you remember that conversation we had about intuition?
TERESE: My intuition tells me that he can put me on a better treatment plan.
PAUL: No. No, no, no, Terese, Nick cannot be trusted!
He suggests that Terese goes to Europe instead (presumably the magic German hospital!) but Terese says that she can't leave Erinsborough.
PAUL: Fine. In that case, you and I are at an impasse.
Yashvi turns up for her date with Evan and they go off in his ute.
Clive, Sheila, Gary and Terese are discussing the situation with Paul and Nick. Clive suggests that he could put a good word in for Nick with the parole board. Nick is still a leading figure in the field of cancer research, and Clive could find a place for him on the hospital's research team. Terese is very pleased. Clive says that Nick could be a real asset.
Ute (in a park somewhere)
Evan is messing about on his phone and Yashvi is looking increasingly uncomfortable. He leans in to kiss her and distracts him, saying she heard a noise. She insists that he checks it out. While he's outside, she checks his phone.
Apparently the police have investigated Wayne's laptop and he's definitely *not* Incognitro. Apparently Wayne was behaving in a cagey way because he was using the laptop to write a post-apocalyptic novel with Elly and him as the romantic leads(!)
ELLY: Mark said he's a terrible writer, although apparently that's not a crime!
Piper doesn't know what to do now.
Evan gets back into the ute, and tells Yashvi that there was nothing there.
YASHVI: I want to go home.
EVAN: Why? What's wrong?
YASHVI: Why were you searching up Matthew Hopkins?
EVAN: Why were you looking at my phone?
YASHVI: You've been harrassing Piper, haven't you?
He doesn't respond.
YASHVI: I'll take that as a yes. I'm calling my dad to come pick me up.
EVAN: You don't need to do that, Yashvi. I can take you home.
YASHVI: I don't want to go anywhere with you.
EVAN: Why do you chicks always overreact?
He tries to get his phone off her.
YASHVI: Get off me!
She gets out of the car.
EVAN: What are you doing?
He gets out of the car to follow her, but she quickly gets back in and locks the doors.
EVAN: Unlock this! What are you doing? Open this door! Get out of my car!
But Yashvi clambours into the driver's seat.
EVAN:(banging) Unlock this, you stupid little girl! Unlock it!
Under pressure, Yashvi starts the engine.
EVAN: I need to get my phone, and when I get back...
Yashvi reverses into something and suddenly realises that Evan has gone quiet.
She's concerned that she's hit him, but she can't think about that now. She drives off.
