Previously on Neighbours
Karl suggesting that the community dig in to help #26 get rebuilt.
Sum and Andrew agreeing on a plan so they can be together.
Tash wakes Summer up from a dream she had (Tash caught Andrew and herself pashing after they decided today was the day to tell her about them) because they are due to meet Andrew for breakfast.
When Tash goes inside to get another drink, Andrew reassures Summer that things will be fine – today's the day they tell Tash. Sum reminds him that she's still got to live with Tash post revelation and he offers to ask Paul if she can move in. The idea is vetoed when Sum points out that Lyn would have a fit!
Their conversation is shortened when Lucas and Michael pass them and mention the community fundraiser to help get her (and her family) back into #26. She is delirious to hear the news and that Lyn will be rapped too.
Jade, Sonya and Toadie are round to #28 for breakfast so they can discuss the fundraising with Karl. Jade isn't impressed when Karl hints that the ladies won't be welcome to come to the Shed where he plans on calling a meeting of the blokes. As a “punishment” Jade decides to keep quiet on any ideas she may have had but that doesn't faze Karl at all, he thinks they will come up with suggestions easily…
…but when the guys meet up, not one of them has an idea… well one they want to take further – Karl's idea of a concert has been ruled out!
Jade still hasn't softened up her attitude when she and Sonya enter the bar.
Back with the blokes and Michael suggests they get a women's perspective since they aren't getting anywhere but Lucas, Toadie and Karl are quick to rule that one out! Lucas comes up with a suggestion – furniture drive which they decide to go with mainly due to the lack of alternatives!
Toadie and Karl drop in to tell Lyn about their plan to raise money but whether it's because Paul is sitting in the store or not, that she turns down their offer citing that she wants to raise the money herself.
Lyn explains the real reason to Summer – she doesn't want charity as she feels there are worse people off than them. “How?” asks Summer and reminds her that the bank have refused to lend them any money but Lyn feels they may change their minds sometime in the future.
SUMMER: I want to move back in now Nan.
Lyn finally relents (although will treat it like a loan) when Summer tearfully pleads further. “You have no idea how much this means to me,” she tells her Nan.
“So when were you going to tell me,” Tash announces as Summer stares into space while supposedly clearing a table outside. Sum is all worried until Tash explains further than the news Andrew told her is that she will be moving out although Sum points out it won't be immediately. Summer turns the conversation round to Tash's appointment and to her surprise is invited to go with her too.
Tash heads off home (Sum will head home soon) and Andrew approaches her. She mentions going to Tash's appointment and he subtly tries to hug her as they begin the countdown to telling Tash/being together.
Michael is singing Summer's praise about being Tash's friend (and sticking by her through all this) as they sit in the corridor waiting for Tash. “My skin totally rocks,” Tash announces with a mega big smile as she exits the consulting room. Father and daughter share a hug at the happy news and Michael suggests a celebration BBQ later on. Tash turns back seconds after they leave to get supplies to hug Summer to thank her for her support, still delirious that there will no scar.
Alone, Sum calls Andrew to tell him Tash's good news and that he can tell her.
Toadie, Karl and Michael are brainstorming ideas when Jade and Sonya enter the house and her attitude on sexism hasn't mellowed! Jade mocks the guys on their idea and Karl taunts her to come up with a better suggestion. She jumps at the idea of a ‘women only' plan to help raise money, and after a bit more taunting from Karl over who can raise the most money they decide on a competition to see which sex can raise the most money with bragging rights to the winner. Jade scoffs on that suggestion – she wants something real at stake… the Shed! Michael and Toadie are aghast at Karl agreeing to the bet!
And Lucas is similarly absolutely furious when he finds out too! Karl now rules out doing a furniture drive because they need to aim higher and wants ideas.
Kate joins Jade and Sonya to have a ladies brainstorming session and they only thing they come up with is ruling out doing a bake sale mainly because Susan is away!
The guys are running through a list of possibilities…
…Just like the ladies and Kate comes up with the winning suggestion – a calendar although Jade rules out Sonya's suggestion of a puppies calendar.
The guys come up with the same idea as the ladies do but Karl wants them to have an edge to theirs and when Mark strips off his t- shirt after a workout to reveal his LOVELY torso, it looks like they've found their edge!
Summer calls round so she and Andrew can talk tactics on telling Tash and she suggests waiting until tomorrow, after all they've waited long enough, so that Tash can bask in the happy news she received.
Michael pops into Tash's room to talk about the BBQ and is asked which dress he likes better although god knows why she asked him when she picks the one he didn't like best because its Andrew's favourite.
Before beginning a mega pashing session, Andrew tells Summer that while she can maybe wait, he can't!
Lucas comes to Karl's rescue when his attempt to ask Mark about posing for their calendar gets sidetracked because of the way Karl phrased things - making it sound like he “likes” Mark!
It appears Mark has turned down the opportunity to bare his chest (or more although subtly done!) to the women of Erinsborough. Toadie, Lucas, Zeke and Declan baulk at the idea of a nude calendar too but compromise on a clothed one instead.
The trio of ladies enter the bar and after a bit of friendly rivalry, each sex discovers that they've come up with the same fund raising idea – a calendar.
The ladies head off the gym and Karl gathers the guys for a pep talk – if they want to beat the ladies they have to nude up!
Andrew and Summer and finishing off their pashing session when Tash catches them in the act! She doesn't reveal herself to them but instead backs out of the house as quietly as she entered it and when the camera pans on her she looks absolutely devastated.
Tearfully, Tash sits at her dresser and a few conversations of late (involving the three of them) run through her head.
Number 32 backyard
Tash joins her dad outside and you'd never know just a few minutes ago she was all teary. He remarks that she looks good and that he is proud of her although is a bit suspicious of her hugging him!
Andrew and Summer come outside too and after Andrew remarks that he's pleased to hear her appointment went well, Summer complements Tash on her dress.
Michael decides to propose a toast to the trio for how they've handled things lately.
MICHAEL: To friendship.
SUMMER/ANDREW/TASH: To friendship.
