Det. Brennan thanking Paul - his info has reactivated the case and people will be re- interviewed.
Declan telling Paul to fix it.
Paul wanting Kate to get info from Det. Brennan.
Number 24
Kate finishes off the preparations for her meal with Mark moments before he arrives complete with flowers for her, impressed with how the house looks too. As he is opening the champers, she asks him about Paul and the case and he replies that he'd rather keep work separate but when she pushes him, he agrees to talk about the bigger picture since he can't go into detail. He reveals that they are going to be re- interviewing suspects and that Diana is out of the picture thanks to what Paul has said.
(Later)
Mark thanks her for the meal but Kate has hardly eaten anything and he remarks that she is quiet too and thinks it's down to him planning on staying over. She lies and says she has an upset stomach and he is happy not to stay over as long as she takes care of herself.
Number 22
Kate barges into #22 unamused at what she was asked to do, thus Paul and Declan earn a rant from her. Declan tries to say he isn't involved which doesn't go down well and they begin squabbling until Paul stops them. Kate them reveals what Mark said - that they don't have a suspect but everyone is going to be re- interviewed. Paul apologises to his niece and she says sorry too. After she leaves, Declan shoots Paul a look that could kill!
Number 24
Kate is tidying up when she gets a text from Mark hoping that she is feeling better.
Harold's Store (next day)
Donna leaves another voicemail for Kate, she is desperate to know how her night with Mark went.
Meanwhile Andrew pays Lucas lots of green $100 bills for the use of the Shed and thanks Zeke for agreeing to do the music. Tash demands a kiss from Andrew for virtually selling all the tickets. Sum witnesses the kiss as she and Chris enter the store and rejects Andrew asking if she wants to go to the gig. "Who cares if they are not coming" Tash says to Andrew after Sum and Chris head off to school.
Lassiters Complex
Chris is going on about how Tash earned her suspension and realises that Summer isn't bagging Tash and twigs its because Tash was with Andrew. "They could fall off a cliff for all I care," is Sum's attitude towards them adding after spotting Andrew leave the store, that she'd be an idiot to still have feelings for him. Chris thinks that if that is her attitude then they should go to the party to have fun but she turns his suggestion down as things are still not good at home however tells him to go. "It won't be fun without you" he replies then agrees to Sum's alternative suggestion - another night in and he'll take his DVD player with him.
Karl catches Lucas as he exits the store to moan about the school kids using the Shed for their party - he feels they will lose some 'maleness' however when Lucas mentions Andrew has given them $500 for the hire of the place (and it's almost enough for a home theatre centre) his attitude starts to change!
Harold's Store
Sum again denies her non- attendance at the gig is anything to do with Tash and Andrew as they enter the store. Tash has decided she's had enough of Sum's evil eye and decides to say something about it. She asks if there is a problem and it's Chris who steps in to have a go at her - he thinks she's narky because was suspended for the last day of school. Tash however turns it around and calls them tragic for not going to the party and taunts Sum about her lifestyle, ending with her telling them to enjoy their night in because they'll be having fun too.
Number 26
Zeke pops over to give Sum and Chris a lift to the party and finds out that they aren't going, so bids them farewell after a brief chat.
Having finished setting up the DVD player, Chris shows Sum the DVDs he's brought with him and she is puzzled at the one's he has chosen, telling him they are terrible and wants to know what the story is.
CHRIS: I'm getting DVDs for a girl I don't recognise any more. The Summer I know wouldn't have let Tash get in the way of stuff before.
SUMMER: Look, I'm not going to their stupid party because I'm tired alright.
CHRIS: If you can look me in the eye and tell me that's all there is to it then I'll break out the zombie movies right now.
Summer can't do as he's asked, so he joins her on the sofa and says to her that he knows it's hard but she can't hide from them forever.
CHRIS: You let them stop you from going to this party and pretty soon you won't even leave the house.
Finally Summer opens up and admits she hates it... and Chris produces two tickets from his pocket telling her that is exactly why they should go!
And today's trip down memory lane is to 1994 and a scantily dressed Annalise Hartman!
The Shed
Tash and Andrew are very happy at how things are going when they survey the Shed and at everyone having a great time. She isn't amused to see Summer and Chris arrive although Andrew looks happy!
Number 24
Donna doesn't believe Kate's "stomach bug" story and when she hears that Kate has been avoiding his calls, grabs Kate's mobile for her to call him because she doesn't want Mark to slip away from her friend.
Charlie's
Karl volunteers to help Lucas take more supplies down to the shed but is told his help isn't needed and instead to concentrate on that home theatre system!
Donna decides to take matters into her own hands when she tells Mark that Kate is lying when she turns down his offer of going for something to eat (to keep up the pretence of the stomach bug)! Thankfully they don't kill her and after she makes a tactful retreat, they agree to stay in the bar and have something.
The Shed
Andrew attempts to talk to Summer but barely gets a chance to before Tash comes over wanting to know what is going on. He replies "nothing" then heads off to see Zeke.
Tash then offers Sum an energy drink and is told to "live dangerously" when she turned it down because Chris is off getting her some water. This causes Sum to grab the bottle from Tash before the two of them start squabbling over why Summer is at the party. "Go home Summer," Tash tells her but instead of doing that, Sum opens the energy drink and begins drinking it.
Commercial break later and the party is still in full swing. Andrew watches as Summer dances away before Tash interrupts to tell him its time to draw the winning ticket (some competition they were running) and notices what he was looking at.
As they are dancing, Chris notices that Summer doesn't look too good and when he mentions it, replies that she probably just needs a breather so they leave the dance area. When they reach the side, she remarks that it's very hot and Chris suggests she just needs something to drink and hands her another bottle of the energy drink. Summer begins drinking it after seeing Tash and Andrew caper around at the other side of the shed, then after she's has some, drags Chris back into the dancing area.
Lassiters Complex
Kate explains to Mark why Karl was uptight as they walk through the complex. She apologises again for last night and they both agree to make a date soon for Mark to stay over!
Number 22
Kate enters the house a bit more sedately than the previous night to talk to Paul and Declan. Whilst reaffirming her promise to keep quiet about Rebecca, she adds that there won't repeat what she did last night (asking Mark about the case) because it made her feel sick.
KATE: I'm done with you. Do you understand?
Paul nods that he does understand and Kate adds "both of you" as she exits the house.
The Shed
Karl has had enough and decides to pay the Shed a visit! Zeke reassures him that all is well and sends him off to work (he's on night shift at the hospital).
Perhaps he should have stayed when Summer staggers outside, but she quickly recovers when she does, and tells Chris its just because she hasn't danced like that in ages. Whether it's the result of a stare- out with Tash (she spots Andrew and Tash exiting the Shed) or something else but she then suddenly collapses to the ground. Andrew rushes straight over to her and Chris explains he didn't do anything, she just fell.
Zeke has witnessed her collapse and runs off to try and get hold of Karl.
Hospital
Karl talks medically to Summer (who is now awake and in a hospital bed) before ticking her off for not watching out for her heart condition by having an energy drink (which contained caffeine) on top of the coffee's she had earlier in the day. "I'm really stupid" she admits as Chris, Andrew and Tash watch her from the corridor.
And outside in the corridor, Chris takes a call from Zeke and relays to him that Summer is fine.
Back inside the room, Karl confirms to her that she's being kept in overnight and that Lyn is on her way before signalling to the teens that they can enter.
With instructions not to get her too excited, Karl lets Andrew enter the room before walking off. After asking how she is (pretty embarrassed) he asks that she doesn't do a repeat performance! She explains to him that she has a long- standing heart condition but everything is fine. Picking up her hand, he admits that she had him worried and outside in the corridor Tash sends out a look that could kill!
Andrew asks if he can get her anything and as he leaves her room to get the water she requested, he sincerely tells her that he is glad she is okay and again, out in the corridor Tash sends more looks that could kill!
Summer's heart condition was Long QT syndrome although it wasn't actually mentioned by name in that scene before we went into the final commercial break.
"Feeling better" Tash asks as she enters Summer's room. "A bit," Summer replies before Tash sharpens her claws to tell Summer that she knows what she is doing! Tash thinks the collapse was just a sympathy act and a way for her to get Andrew and doesn't believe it when Sum replies that it wasn't.
NATASHA: Maybe, but you love that he's here don't you, holding your hand. I'm onto you. Just stay away from him Summer, do you hear me?! (Menacingly) He's mine!
