- Sunny accidently knocking the “on air” switch while talking to Zeke about Karl.
- Karl hearing Sunny and Zeke.
- Melissa asking Sunny to work with Zeke instead.
- Kate and Amanda arguing over which waltz should be danced at the Deb.
-Kate realising that Harry really does like Amanda.
Harry takes down another poster and Donna assures Kate that at least he will know that Amanda is a skank now. Kyle catches up with Harry and tells him that the poster thing is genius, so many girls are into it....NOT. Libby takes Harry off to talk about it in her office while Kate berates Amanda in the classroom. Kate pushes her and Amanda threatens to get her expelled if she touches her again,
KATE: Stay away from my brother ok.
AMANDA: Sounds as if you should take your own advice. I'd hate to have a sister like you.
As the lesson starts Kate tells Donna Amanda is right. How can she make it up to Harry while the whole school is laughing at him? Zeke thinks they need to turn it into a joke.
So in the recess a whole load more facebook posters go up. “ Zeke Geek with Issues”, “Donna CRAZY STALKER” , “Kate Goody Two Shoes”. Etc. Sunny leaps into shot to show off her new braces free teeth. The bell goes and everyone files out of classes to have a good old laugh at the Hil.ar.I.ous posters. Kyle is amazed at the number of losers in the school so Zeke hands him a poster of “Crafty Kyle” in a rather fetching bobble hat. Amanda and her cronies are all “UHH!” *flounce*. Job done then.
Later on Amanda is back and wants to talk to Harry not Kate. To the disbelief of the others Harry goes to talk with her. Amanda tells him she's innocent and doesn't get why Kate started all of this.
HARRY: She thinks you're using me.
AMANDA: I'm not. We're friends. I'll approve the request and everything.
Oh well if you'll approve the friend request everything will be ok! Kate, Donna, Zeke and Sunny continue to watch in disbelief as Harry gets sucked in. Kate decides it is time to strike back.
Donna rejoins Kate on the deb committee and their first strike back is to outvote Amanda on the choice of waltz. Amanda complains that the whole thing is rigged, but Libby reminds her she got her way with the limousines. Donna thought the Deb was meant to be green and thinks a procession of people in their Deb clothes would be really cool.
KATE: Or we could hire those old horse and carts. It would be really cute.
DONNA: All that matters is that the transport is environmentally friendly. It's for the Polar Bears, Amanda.
Libby suggests another vote but Amanda doesn't see the point, Kate brought Donna back to stack the numbers. She quits.
Later by the lockers (and yes, it is half way through the episode and we are still in the school) Donna reports to Sunny that they just greened the Deb by cutting down on the Amanda emissions. Kate is concerned she's going to find a way to get back at them. They go back into the classroom to practise the Waltz. Thankfully Sunny has one of each foot today and is doing pretty well. She comments that Zeke has picked up the steps quickly and he tells her he used to do a bit of dancing, like raves/dance parties. Because that's totally the same Zeke. Sunny asks if the others went too and he tells her it was most him and Taylah.
SUNNY: Did Taylah have braces?
ZEKE: Um nooo.
SUNNY: Was Taylah a good dancer? Would you take me to a rave?
ZEKE: Well I don't do that stuff anymore. It's strictly ballroom with you.
Sunny looks troubled. Harry swings by to tell Kate that everything has worked out and that he is going to the Deb after all. With Amanda.
After the break it is officially the longest anyone in Erinsborough has ever stayed in school. Kate and Donna continue to bitch about Amanda while Amanda gets flirty with Harry and kisses him on the cheek. Kate tells Amanda she knows she is using Harry to get back at her.
KATE: If you leave him alone I'll give you the Deb Committee. Your Viennese Waltzs, your limos, everything.
AMANDA: Your brother and I are friends.
KATE: If you hurt him...
AMANDA: Would that upset you?
KATE: You don't care about anybody else's feelings do you?
AMANDA: You're the one who made up his facebook page.
Amanda flounces off and Kate continues to rant in exasperation at Donna. Donna realises that Harry, being a boy, isn't going to see what Amanda is doing. Kate thinks they need to find someone better to take to the Deb. Someone prettier and nicer and who won't humiliate him in public.
Answer: Donna. Donna reminds Kate that Elle has grounded her forever and that she has a boyfriend. Kate begs her and Donna caves. Harry passes and Donna takes the chance to ask him to the Deb.
HARRY: You already have a boyfriend.
DONNA: Yeah, but he can't make it so um...what do you say?
HARRY: Thanks, but I'm going with Amanda.
DONNA: So you'd rather go with her than me?
Harry says that she asked him first but Donna argues that she is better than her. Donna can't believe that Harry would think she's not better than Amanda and calls on Zeke and Sunny for backup.
DONNA: Since I'm being so democratic at the moment let's put it to a vote. Who do you think is hotter, me or Amanda?
KATE: Donna, don't.
DONNA: This is a matter of principle. Well?
ZEKE: Well I guess you're both hot in your own way...
DONNA: No fencing.
ZEKE: Well you win on personality!
Donna grows more indignant and asks who he would rather pash. Zeke doesn't want to go there.
DONNA: You've already been there.
KYLE: Me too, but I'll go back again!
Kate realises this was a bad idea and Harry wants to know what she's done now. Kate has no choice but to admit she put Donna up to asking him out. Harry tells her she's totally lost her mind and starts to walk away. Kate follows and says that it's just him and Amanda and he's getting sucked in by her and it's not just because she hates her, it's because she and Donna got her kicked off the Deb committee.
KATE: She's setting you up Harry.
Back in class we get a nice couple of shots of the teens actually doing some work. Sunny is still troubled though and asks Donna how many girlfriends Zeke has had and if she ever met Taylah.
DONNA: No. But I saw a photo. She's totally hot.
She writes Sunny a note “Taylah = hot. Sunny = hot, smart AND great teeth!” Sunny seems cheered by this so the happy twangy music accompanies her brace-less smiles.
Another break over and back at the lockers Sunny gives Zeke a bit of a kiss to see if it feels any different. Zeke wasn't really aware of it and Sunny is disappointed when he walks off. Harry asks Kate if she can pick Sophie up from her friend's later as he's got to meet Amanda. He knows Kate reckons she's horrible but she's actually nice and kind and smart and cool. Just then Amanda comes by.
AMANDA: Look, I'm sorry. Your sister has made this way too complicated. I've found another Deb partner. Oh Kyle, congrats. You're coming with me.
KYLE: I love my life.
Harry storms off.
14.53 mins and we're FINALLY back on Ramsay Street. Harry is sitting dejectedly on the sofa watching cartoons when Kate arrives home. She asks him what kind of take away he'd like for dinner, she just cleared out her tip jar.
HARRY: You're not going to say I told you so?
KATE: I hate being right about this, I really do.
Harry thinks the truth sucks. Kate thinks he should still go to the Deb, there are heaps of girls who want to go but can't because they don't have dates. Harry isn't keen on being teamed up with some dork.
KATE: The only dork doing the Deb is Amanda, which is why I think you should still go so you can stick it to her.
Harry admits that the stupid thing is that he still kinda likes her. Not stupid. Insane. Take away for dinner it is. IF only the Parkers were still around to write that on the fridge.
Sunny is still smiling at the note from Donna when Toadie makes a random appearance to ask why she's not at Pirate Net, he thought Lost Boy and Found Girl were over before they began. Sunny asks if that would be so bad, all they do is argue about stuff.
TOADIE: I would call it banter, and that's good. It shows you're on his level. He digs your intelligence.
SUNNY: Donna did say that.
TOADIE: Hmm. Zeke has always had a thing for brainy chicks. His first girlfriend, Bree, my cousin, was a published author in high school you know. Actually, for a geek, Zeke has gone out with some pretty hot chicks. Bit like myself...well I'd better go....you've got really nice teeth.
Sunny goes back to looking troubled. Donna comes in and tells Sunny to cheer up. Sunny is wound up because she's not as smart as Bree or as hot as Taylah and who knows who else Zeke has been out with.
DONNA: Who's Bree?
SUNNY: Another ex-girlfriend. Toadie's cousin.
DONNA: How many has he had?
Sunny feels like nothing who knows nothing about him. Donna thinks all she can do is ask him about it.
While they set up for the show, Sunny mentions that Toadie told her about Bree and that she was really smart. Zeke talks over her going through the stuff they're going to cover on the show but Sunny wants to know why he never mentioned her. They're about to go on air so Zeke can't answer.
ZEKE: Hey you're on the air with Lost Boy and Found Girl and today we have a show of epic proportions. We've got...
SUNNY: YES, BUT, how much do you tell your current partners about your exes and what does it mean if you don't say a thing? So give us a call and tell us what you think. Personally, I'd love to know.
When they go off air Zeke demands to know why Sunny is doing this. Why not? Lost Boy and Found Girl are known for their banter. Zeke argues that this is private and he doesn't want to talk about it on air. Sunny counters that he talks about everything else on the air.
SUNNY: Found Girl is proud to tell the world that she's only had one boyfriend. What about you Lost Boy, you've got a girlfriend, right?
ZEKE: Er yes.
SUNNY: And this is girlfriend number....?
Zeke admits to having had about 4 girlfriends. Sunny asks if he's told his current girlfriend about them, but Zeke says that that the only person who counts is the person he's with. They take some calls from listeners.
CALLER 1 (KYLE): Hey Lost Boy, how did such a dweeb like you score four girlfriends? And does that include the major hottie Donna?
ZEKE: Well this dweeb still counts Donna as a friend which is more than you'll ever be able to knitting boy.
SUNNY: Interesting point. Does a fling count and when does a fling turn into a relationship? You're on the air....
Donna calls in to say that she doesn't count what she and Zeke had as a relationship. It only counts if the feelings last more than a week. Kyle calls back to say that he thinks Lost Boy is giving Found Girl the censored version, the boys at school still talk about him and Miss Steiger.
ZEKE: Well that doesn't count!
KYLE: So you take anyone's undies to school do you? And then there was that time you rocked up to footie training with that bunch of hot models...
Oh Zeke, you dawg!
SUNNY: (shrill) Did they count or were they just flings? And how many have there been?
They go back to some music before Sunny hyperventilates. Zeke tries to explain that they were joking and they were all in the past anyway. Sunny decides he can finish the show alone.
- Zeke tells Sunny not to take the radio stuff seriously.
- Sunny asks Zeke if she's as ugly as before.
- Toadie thinks Sonya has backed right off.
- Sonya isn't sure if she and Toadie are compatible.
- Toadie can't believe he's been given the flick for not being environmental enough.
- Karl has a new fan
- Dan gets a call from Sam.
