Outside Rebecca's pad

No. 30
Adam wakes suddenly from a dream - about what happened to his old partner that was killed and Pepper works out that it his being nervous about joining the police again. She suggests that he undergoes counselling since it helped her after the Scary Mary stuff but he is insistent that he doesn't need it.
No. 28
Karl proposes a trip to see Tom tomorrow but Zeke doesn't want to go and is still unhappy at Tom being shipped out to a home. The others tell him that it like he is imagining it and that Tom actually likes it. He begrudgingly agrees to go when Karl mentions that Tom would like it if he came.
Police station (next day)
Adam is nervously waiting outside the station when two other officers are escorting a prisoner into the building but he manages to get one of the officer's guns when he plays up. However before he can do anything with it, Adam jumps into action and restrains the guy before he can do any damage.
Law firm
Stonie lies talking to Angie on the phone that things are going well in the roadhouse and his wife is fine too but cuts the call short when Toadie and Tim want the office to talk to someone wanting to put in a compensation claim.
Toadie is aghast at Tim telling the guy that they should claim for $50,000 for a sprained ankle! Once the guy has signed the contract he starts to walk out with not even a sign of a limp and forgetting his crutches too until Tim reminds him and encourages him to use them to make it more convincing to the judge.
STONIE: Talk about dodgy and dodgier.
Tim doesn't appreciate Stonie's comments and starts accusing him of nicking his $1000 pen that was made in Switzerland but Toadie is quick to defend his brother.
Police station
One of the officers, who Adam helped earlier, thanks him as she leads him out of the building and wishes him luck for joining the police and Adam wastes no time in filling in the form!
The General Store
Elle is telling Ollie about bonding with his mum as they enter TGS and he is glad that she knows all about his dad before he leaves her to go to a meeting. As he leaves, he actually passes his dad (although he doesn't know it is him) when Richard comes in to return "Miss Roberts'" pass that she left behind at the school.
Elle looks mortified when he calls her Miss Robertson and tries not to freak out when Ollie comes in for the briefcase he left. Richard mentions that he saw her with his former partner (Rebecca) and wants to know what is going on.
The General Store
Commercial break over and Elle tries to say it wasn't Rebecca but a guest but Richard is a teacher and can see through her lies. He asks if it was her who asked Elle to contact him but instead she tells him what he did to Rebecca. Naturally, he pleads his innocence and asks to see his son - Declan - because he has been denied access to him and she crumbles when he does the male equivalent of female tears.
Charlie's
Toadie catches up with his brother and demands he return the pen but Stonie tells him where to go before marching off. Steph wants to know what is going on and so Toadie does and tells him that she doesn't think Stonie is a thief.
The General Store
Elle calls Rebecca to invite her for a coffee, mentioning that she has something to tell her and they agree to meet at No. 22. She looks worried and calls her dad asking for help.
Carole Harvey memorial nursing home
One of the staff shows the Kinski-Kennedy clan to where Tom is sitting with Zeke still making snide comments as they get there. When they get to Tom, he is going on about Bessie needing milking Zeke gets upset because Tom is still confused and takes off when Karl tells him to say hello to him.
Law firm
Steph is talking to Toadie when Tim arrives and she has to feign that she is there for legal reasons so not to peeve the boss off but Tim sees right through it and reminds Toadie about how hard Rosie is working canvassing for new clients.
Stonie comes into the office to drop off more supplies to Toadie and spots a gold pen in Tim's pocket - the one he was accused of stealing - and Tim doesn't hand out the apologies although Toadie begrudgingly gives him one.
Carole Harvey memorial nursing home
Susan has caught up with Zeke and tries to reassure him that Tom has made progress as they walk back to the building and as if they were trying to play tricks on the young man, Bessie the cow that Tom was going on about earlier is actually a real life cow kept at the nursing home! Zeke totally cheers up and goes to hug Tom and the two of them bond while Susan and Karl look on happy that Zeke has come round.
No. 22
Elle decides at last that confession is good for the soul and tells Ollie and Rebecca that she has found Richard. Rebecca is most annoyed and demands confirmation that he doesn't know where she stays.
No. 22
Commercial break over and Paul is reassuring Rebecca (and comforting her at the same time) that Elle's visit to Richard's school can't lead him to know where she lives... that is until Elle adds that she dropped her work ID card which allowed him to track her down and that he saw the two of them together.
Rebecca is freaking out now but Paul and Elle reassure her that he doesn't know where she lives. She however doesn't believe them and is all set to up sticks and move but Ollie tells her no, he will protect her and Declan.
OLLIE: Just tell me what he looks like.
Elle tells him that he saw him this morning when he came in for his briefcase. Now he is annoyed also and has a go at her while Rebecca fleas closely followed by Paul and once he's finished ranting at Elle, Ollie too.
No. 30/Police Station
The officer who Adam helped has been in contact and was singing his praises to Pepper and when he calls her back she lets him know that the police are interested in him because his British references were good. She mentions his past and when Adam goes quiet on the phone, mentions that he will need to go through the standard psych evaluation before the application can be processed. Adam accepts this and she tells him that she will get it set up for the afternoon and will contact him with details later.
Adam comes off the phone and he isn't exactly cool about the psych test and again, Pepper suggests that he has counselling first. Adam however thinks he has moved on from what happened and hopes that once he's sat the test that will prove to everyone that he is fine.
Rebecca's pad
Rebecca comes in and tells Declan that they are moving before immediately starting to pack things up. He wants to know what happened and doesn't want to be fobbed off with what she has told him in the past.
REBECCA: He's violent. He's hurt me and could hurt you.
Declan tells his mum that he will protect her but just as she is about to tell him to go and pack, someone knocks on the door. She breaths a huge sigh of relief when Paul calls out for her and she goes and lets him in. He asks her not to run and invites her to stay with him and promises not to let Richard harm either of them and tearfully, Rebecca agrees.
Charlie's
Toadie's penance for accusing his brother of stealing is to buy him dinner with 3 desserts but it doesn't stop Toadie from bringing things up from their childhood that made him think that he had stolen the pen. With everything off his chest, Toadie also admits that the pressure to get cases for Tim is beginning to stress him out too so Stonie suggests they go out on the town again and get hammered. Toadie looks to Steph to back him up that Stonie's idea is crazy but she thinks it is a good idea because he can get Stonie to open up about what is wrong with him... as long a she doesn't find lipstick on him!
Rebecca's pad
Paul and Declan are loading up the car when Ollie arrives. Declan still wants to stay at home and face his father but Rebecca is having none of it and shoves him into the car but Paul tells him to save his energy for his revenge. He is puzzled by this and so Paul explains that if he lets Richard know he doesn't give two monkeys about him and lives life as normal that is the best revenge he can have. Try telling that to Harold and Lou after what he did to them!
DECLAN: (sarcastically) Why oh why can't our world leaders be more like you Paul?
Rebecca and Ollie head back into the house to finish packing when her mobile rings - its Richard! Like the rest of us she wonders how he got her number but he doesn't say and instead tells her to stop these lies. She hangs up telling him to leave her alone and shouts on Ollie to tell him that Richard called. Ollie tells her to call the police but she says that she hasn't the evidence to prove it, so he tells her to go inside and he'll check outside.
Inside the house Rebecca is nervously making sure the windows are locked but stops when she gets upset at accidentally knocking some things onto the floor. She then has a brainwave and clears the contents of the breakfast bar onto the floor and then starts on the rest of the house to make it look like someone has been into the house.
Rebecca's pad
Commercial break over and a teary Rebecca calls the police to report that her ex boyfriend is in the house trashing it but unknown to her, Ollie enters and asks what is going on before seeing the mess that the place is in.
