Number 32
Rosie walks in on Frazer, and accuses of him of sleeping with Charlotte. Frazer tells Rosie that that is probably classic Charlotte behaviour. He says that he rejected her, so she retaliates by trying to be spiteful. Rosie concludes that Frazer knows Charlotte a little better than he would have her believe, and he tells her that he should have been upfront from the start. Rosie tells him that it is time that he explained to her what is going on.
Number 30
As Steph is dusting, she lingers over a picture of her Max and the kids, but quickly hides it behind her back when Toadie gets home. Toadie is in good spirits, as he thinks that he has someone who can help him prove Terrence is a fake. Steph thinks it's great news, and tells him to go and check on dinner while she boots up the computer, so that they can check out the info about Terrence. Toadie says that he will do just that, as soon as she shows him what she is hiding behind her back, Steph plays dumb, but Toadie goes in for a kiss, and grabs the picture that she has been hiding behind her back. Steph is quick to try and offer her apologies to Toadie, telling him that she was trying to get rid of pictures of her ex. Toadie says that is fine, and that Max is part of their family. They say that Boyd might get the wrong idea, and perhaps they should have talked to Boyd before he moved in. Before they can say anymore Boyd arrives home from his trip to see Max, and seems uneasy when he sees Toadie and Steph hugging. However neither Toadie nor Steph are keen to tell Boyd that Toadie has moved in, and instead change the subject. Boyd asks what has been going on at Number 32 while he has been away, but Toadie and Steph maintain their silence.
Number 30
Rosie discovers that Frazer and Charlotte were involved in a relationship for two years, Frazer has obviously tried to brush it off as a fleeting teen romance, but Rosie thinks that it is much more serious that he would have her believe. Frazer agrees, and tells her the reason that he kept quiet because he was ashamed of what they did. He tells her that he and Charlotte used to work together as card counters; Rosie doesn't seem to be shocked at all at Frazer's revelation that he used to be a professional cheat. Frazer tells Rosie that his relationship with Charlotte was purely a physical thing, only spurred on by the thrill of the game, perhaps this wasn't the best of things to say to a fragile Rosie, who thinks that Charlotte must have really liked that physical side of things, as she certainly seems keen to get Frazer back all these years. Frazer assures Rosie, that that is certainly now what he wants. Rosie tells Frazer that she doesn't believe him, as he let Charlotte come to his home for a private card game. Frazer assures her that was Charlotte's idea, but Rosie says that he must have known what Charlotte was after, and Frazer thinks that maybe he did, but it he certainly wasn't conscious of it. Rosie begs to differ though, she thinks that Frazer wanted that too, but he is keen to assure Rosie that he didn't want that. He says that all he was trying to do was get a reminder of who he was before the accident, and a hurt Rosie concludes that it is not something he can get from her.
FRAZER: There's so much more at stake with you Rosie, I love you so much. What if I lost your respect because I was disappointing.
ROSIE: The only way you would lose my respect is if you hurt me like that again. What, do you think I'm fickle? Do you think I'm only going to stick around when the weather's fair.
FRAZER: No.
ROSIE: You make me happier than I've ever been in my life. Beginning, middle end of story.
As a legion of Frosie fans rejoice at the fluff, Frazer seems to be pleased to hear those words from Rosie.
Number 32
Steph and Toadie are telling Boyd about Toadie moving in, and they apologise for not consulting, but he seems to be taking it fairly well, he thinks that he should move out, but Steph assures him that she doesn't want him to move out, Boyd says that he is happy to stay if she is, and they seem to be getting on fine. Steph asks Boyd what he is going to do now he is back in town, he says that he is going to try and get his old job back from Doctor Stone. Steph wonders if she will have him back after he walked out, but a confident Boyd assures her that Doctor Stone is nothing without him, and she will soon be rolling out the red carpet to welcome him back. If only he knew how true those words were. Anyhow, when Steph goes over to help Toadie put on a CD from Summer, Boyd looks uneasy as he watches them together, he then happens to notice the family photo, which includes Max in a box, and it seems that perhaps Boyd is not as happy about the new living arrangements at Number 32 as he had previously seemed.
The General Store
Lou and Janae are discussing her boxing ability, Janae is not sure that she is ready, but Lou assures her of her natural talent.
Janelle is quick to shout insults at Boyd when he comes in, but Boyd tries his best to ignore it, and leaves before getting into a fight, Janae tells her mother just to leave things, as she seems much more interested in her boxing, and she and Lou leave to discuss it further.
A tired and bedraggled looking Sky comes over to the table, and Janelle is worried that Kerry is running her ragged, but Sky assures her that she is fine. Janelle wonders when the last time she saw Terrence was, and a guilty looking Sky tells her that it has been a few days. Janelle seems concerned that Sky has gone off him, and tries to offer to pay for some sessions to encourage her. Sky says that it is not that she just wants to get a way for a while, and is going to go to a retreat. Janelle thinks that Sky should see Terrence before she goes, as she always seems to be happier when she has seen him.
The General Store, the next day
As Sky nips in to the store for her purse, and doesn't seem pleased to run in to Terrence, who tells her that Stingray told him that she would be there. Sky seems sceptical saying that she is always there. Terrence says that she has been confused since their last session, but it is natural for her to be scared, he says that the more she develops her gift, the more she will be able to trust him, and trust that he is not scamming her. Terrence gets up to leave, but Sky seems to be relenting, and asks him how it felt, Terrence tells her that it is hard to explain, as he wasn't there. Like a true con man, he tells her that all he can remember is Stingray's spirit taking over his body, and the feeling of enormous love that Stingray had for Sky. Sky gets tearful, as she tells Terrence that she so much wants to believe him, as she misses and needs Stingray so much. Terrence feigns sympathy as he tells Sky that if she wants him to let Stingray through again, she knows where to find him, and tells a confused Sky to call him.
The Scarlet Bar
As Rosie orders a latte at the bar (good call there Rosie) Charlotte approaches her, to tell Rosie that she hopes that Rosie doesn't feel that she has to avoid her, but Rosie assures her that is not the case at all. She tells Charlotte that he medical degree does not give her the right to belittle her, and tells her not to presume to lecture on her relationship with her sister. Rosie goes to grab a table, but Charlotte follows her and says that she wasn't talking about her sister, it's because Rosie feels threatened about her (Charlotte's) relationship with her boyfriend. Still Rosie is not rising to the bait, as she tells Charlotte that she must be the one with issues, as she is still hung up on a relationship that ended seven years ago. However Charlotte implies that the relationship is not over, saying that Rosie is too trusting if she readily believes Frazer when he says nothing happened. Charlotte hits below the belt by implying that she knows that they are not 'being intimate' Rosie doesn't fall for the bait again, telling Charlotte that she is certain that Frazer was never in love with her, not the way he is with she (Rosie) with that a triumphant Rosie leaves Charlotte to think about things, she clearly hasn't rattled Rosie's cage.
The Surgery
Still rattled, Charlotte seems to be getting more frustrated by the minute, when she is not able to fix an error on her computer, when there is a knock at the door she sharply shouts that 'Dr Stone is not seeing any patients today' but it's not a patient, it's the gullible Boyd, there to ask for his old job back. Charlotte reprimands him for taking off without telling her, he tries to blame his personal problems, but Charlotte doesn't seem to be very understanding, and allows him to think that he is not going to be getting his job back. Boyd resorts to turning on the tears, and saying that he needed his dad, not the most mature scene of the episode, it has to be said.
Number 26
Toadie is filling in Janelle, Janae, Harold and Lou about what he has learned about Terrence. Janelle is not keen to believe what he has told them, accusing Toadie of having it in for Terrence from the start, but Steph calms down the situation, by asking everyone just to listen. Toadie continues to tell his story about a woman who was also taken in by a psychic. Janelle is not making the link with Terrence, as she says that he is the only link she has to her dead son, and seems to be angry with Toadie. Toadie has not relented however and continues to tell Janelle and the others, about the woman who was taken in by this so called psychic only a year ago, and it was the case that the man who was supposed to be a psychic, was actually working with an insider at the tax office who was passing on information. Janelle is still point blank refusing to believe that Terrence is the same person, she is sure that he works alone, and he definitely doesn't have a partner. But Janae and Lou try to see things objectively, and ask Toadie to continue with the story, when he does it makes for some shocking listening. Toadie continues by telling the group that several weeks later in the story that he has heard, the 'psychic' left town with the entire estate of the woman he has supposedly been helping, she had signed it over to him for safe keeping, and had lost everything. He says that it is not the only time it has happened, as there are other cases of it happening too. Still Janelle and Harold are determined to believe in Terrence, that is until Toadie produces a picture of the wanted man, which is remarkably similar to Terrence. Immediately Janelle and Harold realise their error, berating themselves for being so stupid, but Steph asks them not to be so hard on themselves, and they need to firstly come to terms with it, and then they have to call the police. They think that Sky should be there to hear about the scam, but Harold says that she has gone away for the night. Janelle also adds that she was starting to think that Sky was getting suspicious of Terrence anyway, so they don't think that she is in any danger from him, to which Harold is thankful for small mercies.
The General Store
Uh-Oh, looks like Harold and Janelle have spoken too soon, as it seems that Sky is locking up the Coffee Shop. Terrence is sitting at a table with a sly grin on his face, it seems that he has wormed his way back in to Sky's affections. He asks Sky if she is ready, and she nervously turns to him and agrees that she is.
The Surgery
A tearful Boyd is wiping the tears from his eyes, as he has just poured his heart out to Charlotte. She is still letting him think that he is not going to get his job back. He conceeds that he wouldn't want a cry baby working for him either, but Charlotte tells him that expressing emotion is a strength, not a weakness, and she thinks that it is a quality that more doctors should have. She then allows Boyd to beg for his job back, and she tells him that it's fine. As Boyd leaves, there is a fax coming through on Toadie's machine in reception, it's a fax about Terrence, with a full size picture, it seems inevitable that Charlotte is going to find it first.
The General Store
Sky has been sucked in by Terrence again, as they are holding another spiritual meeting, Sky asks if Stingray is with them, Terrence tells her that he is. Sky seems nervous about it, but says that there is something that she needs to know about the past. She tells Terrence that before Stingray died, they went to Vietnam together watching a sunset, and Stingray told her that he had a secret. Terrence asks if Stingray told her what it was, but she says that Stingray had told her that she had to wait until Kerry turned one to find out. Sky asks Terrence to tell her what the secret was. Terrence smiles, as it seems that he is about to be up to his tricks again.
Number 30
Rosie interrupts a sweaty Frazer lifting weights, and it seems that she enjoys it, she leans in to kiss him, but tells him that she is not going to interrupt. Frazer sweetly asks her to please interrupt, but Rosie says that she won't, but she might be able to fit him in after lunch. She tells Frazer about her meeting with Charlotte, saying that she trusts him, and Charlotte was just trying to cause trouble. She tells Frazer that she is concerned however to learn that Charlotte seems to know rather a lot about their romantic activities, or lack thereof, Frazer swears to Rosie that he hasn't said anything, despite the fact that Charlotte has been fishing. Rosie tells him not to worry and assures him that she believes him, which Frazer seems surprised about, considering her is telling her the truth. They are not sure how Charlotte knows. Rosie says that she doesn't care, as Charlotte is completely insignificant.
ROSIE: That woman has treated me like an imbecile for weeks, and the entire time she has been trying to seduce the love of my life.
FRAZER: Say that again.
ROSIE: What?
FRAZER: That love of my life bit, say it again.
ROSIE: Love of my life.
There is more Frosie fluff, and big kiss.
Number 26
Janelle is still feeling stupid for being taken in by Terrence, feeling guilty for scattering Stingray's ashes on Terrence's say so. A worried Harold gets off the phone, and tells the other's that Sky is not at the retreat. The others are worried that Sky has contacted Terrence, none more so than Janelle who feels guilty for encouraging her to do just that. Toadie tells them that there is something that he hasn't told them, that 'Telepathic Terry' not only conned his victims out of their money, he also conned his way in to their affections, by pretending that he was channelling their dearly departed. Harold, Lou and Janelle try to reassure themselves that Sky would not do that sort of thing, not with a stranger, but Toadie points out that if she thought that it was Stingray she might. The levels or worry at Number 26 seem to increase on learning this piece of information, but they don't know where to find Sky.
The General Store
Sky is horrified as Terrence pretends to pass on a message from Stingray. He says that Stingray would never have kept his secret if he had known his fate. He said that Stingray felt blessed to have Sky, and that Vietnam was a very special time for him. Sky is shaking as she asks Terrence what the secret was, to which Terrence replies that Stingray had planned to ask Sky to marry him on Kerry's birthday. Terrence then says that Stingray wants to kiss her, but Sky can't control her anger any more, as she screams at Terrence for being a liar, telling him that they were never in Vietnam. Terrence tries to back track, by saying that Stingray did not mean it literally. Sky tells Terrence to shut up, as she knows he is now a fraud, there was never any secret. Terrence seems annoyed that Sky was testing him, but Sky continues to tell him to shut up, she is very upset, as she so wanted to believe him, and believe that Stingray was with her. As Sky tries to leave, Terrence begins to threaten her, telling her that he will not let her ruin things. In an attempt to save her self, Sky picks up a sugar shaker from the counter and whacks Terrence with it hitting him on the head and knocking him out cold.
As Sky sits in tears at the counter, Terrence's motionless body is laying nearby. Sky's mobile phone rings, and she answers it to Harold, telling him that she decided not to go to the retreat, and she is fine. She tells Harold that she knows all about Terrence, and she worked it out for herself. She calmly gets up and walks out leaving Terrence knocked out in The General Store.
