Recap

Drew tells Libby that he owes Scotty as he shot him.
Lou's Place
Libby begins to question Drew over what happened between him and Scotty, but he makes a quick exit to the bar, where Karl and Susan are discussing the fine economic values of the different wines.
Number 32
Maggie is measuring how tall Emily has grown, and Emily is pleased to see that she's nearly as tall as Leo's line. However Leo arrives and Maggie grabs him and marks off how tall he is. Emily is disappointed that she's still got a long way to grow before she's taller than Leo. Maggie tells her that she'll be bigger than her one day. She asks the two of them what they want to do the next day, as she has the day off, but Leo tells her that he's busy with friends, before showing off a trick, where he wiggles his arm.
Number 28
Karl grabs the ringing phone as they arrive back from the pub. Libby is keen to head home but Drew is keen to stick around for a while to discuss baby names with Susan, they decide against Rod! Karl gets off the phone and informs Susan that it washer sister Liz; she's coming around tomorrow. Susan is shocked to realise that Karl arranged it all without discussing it with her first, but Karl doesn't see what the issue is, as Susan would've only started arguing with her.
Number 26
Joe gets off the phone, from what has been a rather heated conversation; one of the guys he's done work for is still not paying up. Steph offers Lyn some of the money she's got saved away to cover the insurance costs, but Lyn tells her not to worry just yet and heads to bed. Mitch wonders if he'll be able to do anything to help, as Steph gets them each a nightcap.
Libby and Drew's Flat
Arriving back, Libby asks Drew what really happened between him and Scotty. Drew tells her that when he was fifteen, he went out with some friends, pig shooting, in the bush. He fell over and his gun went off, shooting Scotty in the leg. They weren't able to get help quick enough. Libby tells him he shouldn't blame himself as it was an accident, but Drew doesn't feel that way. He was the eldest and should've been looking out for them all, he shouldn't have had his gun cocked, he should have got help sooner, they shouldn't have been out there in the first place.
Number 26
Lyn and Joe wonder if Steph and Mitch are actually going to get together or not, but Steph wakes up. She tells them she's going for a ride with Mitch, but isn't sure if she wants to go or not, and hopes to go shopping instead. Joe goes to answer the phone as Mitch arrives. Steph tells him, that she's going to go and look for a price for her bike to help out her parents, but as Joe gets off the phone, it appears there is no longer a need; Vic has agreed to pay up. Lyn feels bad for what she said about him last night, but Joe isn't so sure about it, given Vic's attitude; it sounded like he was being pressured into paying up.
Steph and Mitch set off for their ride, leaving Joe and Lyn to ponder over Vic. They wonder if Mitch has anything to do with it, and Lyn is nervous about Steph spending the entire day with him, especially given that his knuckles were grazed, and not the night before.
Coffee Shop
Karl bumps into Libby and Drew on the way to the hospital. Libby wonders why he isn't at home with Susan and Liz, but he explains that he got called in. They wonder how it's going to turn out, and explain to Drew, that Susan was the youngest Smith girl; and to cut a long story short, after Liz left university she went overseas and left Susan to look after her dying mother, for whom Liz never came to the funeral. Libby asks how Susan is.
KARL: No, she's used up all that energy, being angry with me for organising things without consulting her. You know your mother.
LIBBY: Yeah, well!
DREW: Ah, like mother, like daughter.
KARL: Exactly
Number 32
The ladies book club doesn't seem to be revolving much around books. Susan explains to them how Liz and she fought every time they meet, and one Christmas Liz accused Susan of changing her mum's will to favour her. She tells them the meeting will probably be heated, just like the current situation Lyn feels between her and Steph regarding Mitch. Maggie goes to find Emily, who slowly appears from around the door. She tells Maggie she tried to wash Bob, but she didn't use shampoo, only blue dye! Blue Bob makes his first appearance!
Lou's Place
Drew pops over to ask Lou if he could borrow a power drill, but interrupts as Lou is reading the information against John Allen. Drew warns him that if the evidence isn't official it could all backfire on him, as two wrongs don't make a right, and tells him to be careful, as he could loose Lolly forever. Drew leaves; leaving Lou wondering if it's a good idea to go through with it or not.
Number 28
Liz has arrived and it's not going too well. She comments about Susan's hair and how she's keeping it long instead of joining the rest of them in the current fashion. Susan isn't impressed though Liz redeems herself momentarily by admiting that blaming her over the change in their mothers will was not fair, before asking for her advice about he daughter Ellie.
LIZ: Your Billy was a bit of a dunce at school, how did he turn out?
SUSAN: He turned out just fine, thanks Liz, and Billy was never a dunce!
They start bickering with each other. Liz tries to change the subject by asking about Karl, but that too starts to turn sour with insults beginning to fly. Liz decides to drop the question she came over to ask; if Susan could look after Ellie while Liz goes to Sweden for a six month contract. She tells Susan that Ellie was expelled from her last school for smoking (and no, it wasn't tobacco). Liz complains that she's not cut out for parenting like Susan is, but Susan reminds her that she had to work at it as well.
Liz starts telling Susan of Ellie's current position in school, and how she's always the class clown. Susan mentions that Toadie was like that, but now training to be a lawyer. Liz hopes that there's still some hope in Ellie turning out like that. She asks 'Susie' if she'll say yes to having Ellie to stay. Susan says she'll have to talk to Karl about it first. Liz asks how she and Karl are, after the spot of bother they had a few years ago; Carmel told her. Susan informs Liz that she and Karl are just fine.
Lou's Place
Libby tells Drew she recons they need to get the money off Scotty sooner rather than later, and soon realises that Drew has never actually spoken to Scotty about the accident. She decides that they are definitely going to the rodeo, and when they do they'll meet his family, go to the rodeo, and talk to Scotty.
Number 28
Karl arrives home from the hospital, but is too late to see Liz. Susan tells him of Liz's request, and at the first mention of drugs, Karl is not impressed. He asks Susan if she said 'no' to Liz, but is able to tell that she didn't and realises that Liz is using them to police Ellie. He tells Susan it'll be like having ten Jess Fielding's around the place, and they'll end up fighting not only at school, but at home too. He asks if she said 'yes', but Susan tells her she didn't. He tells her that the only answer they can give Liz is a 'no'.
Number 26
Steph and Mitch arrive back but are unaware of Lyn's presence. She breaks them apart by telling Steph her dinner is in the oven. Mitch leaves but agrees to meet Steph tomorrow. Lyn isn't impressed and asks Steph if Mitch is a replacement for Woody. Steph denies it, but Lyn doesn't agree, telling Steph that if it wasn't for Woody she would be going out with Mitch.
LYN: He's gonna break your heart, Stephie, he's going to break your heart.
