Recap
Michelle overhears some of the other girls gossiping about her.
Tad and Flick check into a hotel suite.
Hotel Suite
Flick offers Tad some chocolate before going to look at the view of the city from the window. Tad stares at her, but when she asks him what he's doing, he starts making small talk about the number of films the hotel is showing.
Number 26
Michelle wipes tears away from under her eyes before going inside. Lyn is still up and offers to make her a drink and get the goss from the party, but Michelle thanks her and instead heads to bed.
Hotel Suite
Tad is practising some press-ups on the floor, encouraging himself that 'he can do this' with each one. Hearing a noise, he jumps up onto the bed and starts reading. Flick comes over from the bathroom, and they make small talk before just sitting silently looking at one another. Flick tells Tad that she doesn't think either of them are quite ready for this, and reluctantly Tad agrees. He wonders if they should make use of the room-service, before leaving.
Number 30
Libby is trying to help Toadie put on a tie.
TOADIE: I can never tie the knot.
LIBBY: Nah, Neither can I
TOADIE: Yes you can, you got married!
They laugh, as Dee comes through.
DEE: I will help you, if you ask your cousin to turn down his 'duff duff' music. It's driving me nuts.
Dee can't find her door keys, but instead of helping, Libby gets out her recorder explaining that it's all part of her working life. Toadie is still struggling to tie up his tie, when Dee notices his bright red socks.
DEE: You can't be serious?
TOADIE: Well no, I'm not. Not completely, that's why I'm wearing 'em. I can't be just like a serious guy in a suit, can I? I just can't!
LIBBY: Next, you'll be walking around with a mug that says 'you don't have to be crazy to work here, but it sure helps'.
Lib and Dee both do the 'du, du, dum, tshh', complete with actions, as Toadie disappears to change his socks. Dee puts her hand in her pocket, and finds her keys!
Number 26
Lyn asks Flick if she had a good evening, and agrees that Tad is a good guy, with a sense of humour, which is always a good thing, in case something goes wrong.
FLICK: Is that why you fell for dad?
LYN: For dad? No, Joe hasn't got a sense of humour. You know, he thinks he does, but seriously. No, not at all.
Lyn admits that she misses him, but is glad he's returning that day. Flick agrees that she'll ring the pound to find out if there's any more news on Harvey. Lyn takes it as the reason why Michelle is upset and consoles her that they'll find him, before heading to the bedroom. Flick asks Michelle for her views on Tad, and tells her that he's quite cool under his 'I'm a DJ image', but she doesn't want to hurt him.
Number 30
Toadie is still having a tie dilemma, complete to music! Realising he doesn't have much time left, he grabs his jacket and keys and heads out the door.
Number 28
Karl and Drew are having breakfast, accompanied by some very loud music coming from Tad's direction! Drew tells him he's used to it living in a block of flats, and Karl asks how the house search is going. Drew admits it isn't easy; Karl offers to help, though not that day as he's working down at casualty, to help tone his skills.
Number 24
Flick comes over, and Tad turns his disks off. Flick comments that the music was loud, but Tad tells her it was one of his favourites. He turns it off, and they reach yet another awkward silent moment. They realise that it's not really working, but neither of them can work out why, as they both like one another. Flick recons they made the right decision the previous evening, and Tad agrees. They break up. Flick leaves and Tad stands watching her walk out the door, looking so lost and helpless.....and cute and adorable and as good looking as ever; can I steal him yet!?
Hospital
Libby is taking a picture as Dee checks the blood pressure of a patient. Lib warns her that the negatives will serve useful as blackmail, but that she doesn't have very many. Dee jokes that they should name the article, 'Nurse Eats Lamington'. They agree to meet after lunch.
Some Important Office Somewhere In The City
Tim helps Toadie to put on his tie. He tells him it's all part of the learning curve, along with photocopying and sweeping the floor. They head out into the office. Tim jokes about him going to fetch his lunch, and continues walking into a meeting room, where there are three other candidates.
TIM: Yep, four, for two article placements. Welcome to survival; Stuart, Whitehead and Moore style. Who'll get voted off first?
Toadie stands by the door looking shocked!
Number 26
Michelle arrives back and informs Lyn and Flick that there was no news on Harvey. They wonder what they should tell Joe, but the phone rings. Flick answers it, it's Zack for Michelle. Michelle tells her to say she's not there. Flick hangs up and starts to pester Michelle about Zack, but Joe arrives home, he gives his girls a hug, and tells them he'll fill them in once he's given Harvey a bone he brought. He goes to find Harvey!
Some Important Office Somewhere In The City - The Home of Stuart, Whitehead and Moore
A lady walks past and puts papers on the desk at which Toadie is sitting. Tim appears from his office with another box of papers, and reels off a list of which papers to shred and which to sort and file, finishing up with his coffee order. He warns Toadie to keep his tie, tucked away when he approaches the shredding machine. Toadie sits and looks at the papers blankly. He picks up the phone and rings the pound to enquire about Bob. Tim pops his head out the door, to overhear.
Hospital
Karl and Libby collide by the coffee machine. Libby isn't impressed at how it's quiet, as it means that there's not much to put in the article. Karl suggests that she runs an article on a day in the life of him. Dee runs through, telling Lib that they'll have to call it a day as one of her patients has turned critical. Lib tells her that's great, for the article, but Dee tells her the answer's no.
Number 26
Lyn tells Joe that they are doing everything they can to find Harvey, and have contact with the pound. She tells him that Michelle has found herself a boyfriend; to which Joe groans. Lyn tries to point out the positives, telling him that they've got to grow up at some point, but ends up getting frustrated, and admits she's missed him. Just as their about to sit down on the couch for some quality time together, Drew arrives. He tells Joe he's found a perfect house, but would like him to check out a patch of damp, so they head off, leaving Lyn on her own again.
Coffee Shop
Tad is sitting on his own looking rather lonely, when Flick arrives. She apologises for breaking up with him, and Tad mentions that being dumped for an unknown reason does make you wonder. She tells him that it's probably due to the fact that he was really kind to her after her break up with Joel, but that she's realised she doesn't want anything more than friendship.
FLICK: You're a catch Tad, you really are.
TAD: Thanks, mind spreading that one around Erinsborough?
No, send him my way instead!! Please!!!
Number 26
Michelle finally tells Lyn what she overheard the girls in the toilet at the party saying. Lyn points out that Zack probably doesn't know as he rang, and that's a good thing. Michelle asks if she can go and stay with her grandparents, as they don't do anything in the last week of school, but Lyn tells her running away isn't the answer, and she'll have to face them at some point.
Hospital
Dee comes back to the nurse's station. Libby asks if she can do anything to help, so Dee asks if she'd mind sitting by and unconscious patient, and talking to her as though she's awake. They walk towards the room the patient is in and end up overhearing Sheena talking about Dee's miscarriage, telling another nurse, that she's told Dee to take some time off. Libby follows Dee into the patient's room, but Dee asks that they don't talk about it at that moment. She leaves Libby with the patient, Nicole, while she goes to try and ring her parents.
Stuart, Whitehead and Moore
Toadie is busy working through the pile of paperwork on his desk. On his way back from the photocopier, he informs Tim that he corrected an error in the names of one of the laws he'd quoted in his report. Tim thanks him, informing him he'll go far in the world of law, and confirms that he's still on track with what he should be doing. Toadie turns around, holding some papers into the line of which Archie Whitehead is walking. He is surprised that Toadie is holding confidential files, and takes them off him before walking off.
Hospital
Libby is waiting by the nurse's station as Dee comes out. She tells Libby that Nicole has just died.
Stuart, Whitehead and Moore
Toadie is busy at the shredder when Tim comes over with Mr Whitehead, inquiring about a set of files. Toadie realises that he has just shredded the wrong set of files, although it was the set that Tim had originally told him to shred. Archie Whitehead is not impressed.
