Lucy has brought Mark some flowers around. She is up-beat but Mark fends her off when she tries to kiss him.
LUCY: What is it? Don't you like me anymore?
MARK: More than I should. It's myself I'm not very fond of.
LUCY: Come on, Mark...
MARK: Lucy, please. Last night was a mistake, OK, it shouldnt' have happened, I'm sorry.
LUCY: But it did. And I enjoyed it, very much.
MARK: So did I, but that's the problem. It's turned my whole life upside-down.
LUCY: Well, don't blame me!
MARK: I don't. But why did I do it? Why did I let it happen?
LUCY: Because you wanted it to. Because I wanted it to.
MARK: I thought I wanted to be a priest.
LUCY: Oh, for heavens sake!
MARK: Lucy, please understand. I need to think this through for myself.
LUCY: (angrily) Oh, yeah, right! So much for the lvoing priest who cares about other people's feelings! You only care about yourself.
She grabs the flowers out of the jar and storms out.
LUCY: I agree with you Mark! I wish last night had never happened!
