House that Doug is renovating
Someone is walking down the stairs and Doug gets up to confront them.

Doug creeps out and jumps on someone in the dark. It turns out that it's Jesse! They ask him what he's doing there.

Brett is examining Jeffrey's rat babies and offers to name one after Danni(!) He can't work out who the rat- father is and wonders if it could be parthenogenesis(!)

Danni has received a summons to be a witness at Rick's court hearing. She isn't looking forward to it as she's been trying to forget the whole incident. He offers to go with her to the court.

House that Doug is renovating
Jesse's initiation apparently includes spending a night in a haunted house. Pam says she'd better call his parents and tell them where he is. She says that Jesse can stay on with them until the morning though.

No.24
Brett and Danni are having a snack and chatting about a new name for Jeffery now that she's confirmed female. Brett thinks he'll stick with "Jeffery" though. They talk about Sassy and Brett says he needs to avoid her!

House that Doug is renovating
Pam and Jesse are chatting when suddenly some actual vandals appear. Pam confronts them and recognises one of them - Xylo Lazarus, the local butcher's nephew. They ask her for a deal.

Doug rushes in, but Pam says it's all under control.

PAM: Our friendly local vandals will be joining us for breakfast!
DOUG: Eh?

School, the following morning
Brett is hiding from Stonie again. Michael asks what's going on and says they'll work something out.

House that Doug is renovating
Doug has been to take Jesse home. Xylo and his gang have been put to work help Doug shift things around. Xylo explains that he's very artistic (hence the spray- paint) and also writes poetry!

Newsagency
Jesse tells Hannah that it was easy spending the night in a haunted house(!)

Hannah gets her kite and Jesse says it won't fly. She gets very cross with him.

School
Sassy finally catches up with Brett and puts her arms around him. He tells her to leave him alone.

SASSY: You're my guy. I told Stonie that.

Brett looks very worried!

Lassiter's Complex
Jesse gives Pam and Doug a free card to say thank you. Apparently he's been let into the gang following the initiation and he's now third in command.

Julie comes along and asks where Hannah is. She's surprised to hear that Jesse is doing all the selling and Hannah isn't paying him. He says he doesn't mind as he likes doing it.

School
Debbie berates Michael and Brett for not pulling their weight in the paper sales.

When Debbie has gone, Brett insists that he's not interested in Sassy. Michael says he'll teach him some moves.

No.24 (Brett's bedroom)
Brett shows Michael Lou's boxing moves. Michael says it's OK, but street- fighting is different.

MICHAEL: Lesson one. Always try to avoid a fight.
BRETT: My theory, exactly!
MICHAEL: But if you can't, go in hard and fast, put the other guy down, then get the hell out of there!
BRETT: What, Stonefish?
MICHAEL: Anyone! Look, that stuff in the movies about guys getting up after you hit them, it's all Hollywood!
BRETT: Yeah, I know...

Newsagency
Hannah comes in sulking that her kit didn't fly. Julie tells her off for being mean to Jesse. She thinks Jesse like Hannah - why else would he sell on the stall for free? She advises Hannah not to push him away too many times, or he might decide to go.

No.24 (Brett's bedroom)
Michael and Brett are practising a fight. Michael pretends to be Stonie, and after a lot of pretend- fighting, Brett punches Michael unexpectedly hard in the stomach and he falls to the ground, winded!

No.24 (Danni's bedroom)
Danni and Sassy are trying on makeup. She tells Sassy to ease up on Brett - she needs to choose one or the other. She says she'd rather go out with both of them!

No.24 (Living room)
Michael and Brett are packing up cards, still talking about Stonefish. Brett tells him that he'd rather handle things his own way.

SASSY: Hey there, sexy. Fancy seeing you here.
BRETT: I live here!

She wants them to go somewhere private to "talk" but Brett makes a swift exit!

Newsagency
Debbie is pleased that Brett and Michael have actually done some work. She gives the cards to Hannah and Jesse and they go off to sell them.

When Brett has gone, Julie tells Debbie off for being short with Brett. Debbie says she learnt everything she knows from Julie(!)

Lassiter's Complex
Sassy is at a table when Brett comes over.

BRETT: Sassy!
SASSY: Hi!
BRETT: This has got to stop. We're not going out, we never have been and we never will be. I'm sorry, but I'm just not interested. So will you please, please just leave me alone.
SASSY: I don't get it.
BRETT: Do I have to make it clearer?
SASSY: I thought you were a smart guy, Brett. Dumping me is a really stupid thing to do.

Brett sits down.

BRETT: I'm not dumping you, we were never together!
SASSY: I know you're shy, Danni told me. Don't worry, we'll be great for each other.
BRETT: I'm not *that* shy. You just...you're not my type.
SASSY: You little jerk.

Just then, Stonefish comes over!

STONEFISH: What's going on here? I've warned you, Stark!
BRETT: Just going!
STONEFISH:(grabbing Brett by the collar) You've upset Sassy, now you're going to pay!
BRETT: Look, I swear to you, I have done nothing. I was just explaining to Sassy that she has the wrong idea. I'm not interested in her. I would not stand in the way of you two.
STONEFISH: You wouldn't?
BRETT: No way. So let's just bygones be bygones...and keep our teeth.
STONEFISH: Is that true, Sassy?
SASSY: ...

Just as the issue seems resolved, Michael comes over and sees Stonefish holding Brett by the collar.

MICHAEL: Stonefish, you useless piece of dirt!

He falls Stonefish with one punch!

Brett looks on in horror.
